"This is the third job David has completed for me and I highly recommend him for anything stone related. The 1st job was a restoration of a 100 year old marble table which had a cracked top and was missing a corner of the base pedestal. He completely rebuilt and then polished the whole table on site. The next job involved releveling and regrouting a bluestone patio. The 3rd job was restoring soapstone countertops. David shows up on time, has a good eye for detail, cares about and is knowledgeable about his work, and is honest and respectful."

"We had to drive from Norfolk to Hampton to view slabs but the trip was well worth it.  We were able to get counter tops with lots of movement for considerably less than we would have paid for a more generic slab.  Everyone from the owner, to the salesperson to the installers were great to work with and the removal and installation went smoothly.  I would highly recommend them.  <br /> If you do decide to go to their shop I suggest that you call in advance and get instructions (they are located behind a cabinet shop and not easy to find). <br />"

"We found Discover Granite & Marble during an online search for retailers open on Saturday. Within ten days of our first visit, our granite was installed. We found exactly what we wanted at their store. The office staff and estimator were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. The installation crew was efficient and made certain they complied with our wishes for placement of the granite. We had provided Discover with our newly purchased undermount bathroom sink, and it was installed perfectly. We are delighted with the results and look forward to using Discover in the future."

"First, we went to Vintage Stone's location to look at the granite Eric had, there was a very nice remnant that would be big enough for the job. They held that special piece for us until we were ready to have Eric come and make the template of the fireplace. Eric came out took some measurements and gave us the estimate. He then made the template (which is interesting to watch). <br /> Time was not a factor for us, we were out of town and doing other renovations, so we told him there was no rush on the job. After a few weeks (after our schedule cleared up), we called to let him know that anytime he was ready to put it in, was good with us. <br /> Yesterday, Eric and two of his guys came and prepared the fireplace and put in the most beautiful granite covering. I cannot say in words what a transformation that was. It went from yuck to WOW. <br /> Eric (the owner), and everyone that works at Vintage Stone is friendly, knowledgeable and just plain good people. This is the second fireplace Eric has done for us, the other is in my kitchen and we get so many compliments from visitors. Eric also did our kitchen countertops around the same time, which are wonderful too. So, this is the 3rd time he has done work for us. He is all about quality and satisfying his customers.. Also, his estimates have always been right on the penny. I said this in my first review of Vintage Stone; Eric does what he says, at the price that he says and when he says. "Installation took 2 full days as planned. Rip out was done on day one by one outstanding craftsman. He arrived exactly on time. The pathway from the front door to the master bath was completely covered before any work was done. On day 2, two additional outstanding craftsman as well as the craftsman from the first day arrived exactly on time again. (That will happen to you once in a lifetime) The entire work area was spotless at the end of both work days. By 5 o'clock on day 2 we had our remodeled BEAUTIFUL bathroom back. All 3 Venition Marble craftsman were a joy to have in our home. We highly recommend them for any bathroom remodeling. Venetian Marble owners Tom and Darla Skinner were real pros. We could not have asked more from them or their professional craftsman. <br />"

"What a delight! Khash Erdene at the Richmond warehouse and showroom listened to our ideas and quickly found the stone we wanted. He was also able to Find a remnant that worked out perfectly and saved us quite a bit of money. The online communication provided an easy to execute approval of layout. The turnaround to installation was about two weeks even over the holidays! Installation was quick and professional. Excellent service from start to finish."
