"The contractor, Lonestar Siding & Windows, was located by me on my first use of Angie's List in May.  My wife had wrecked her car pulling out of the garage, and damaged the aluminum trim around the garage door.  Lonestar e-mailed me within 24 hours of my inquiry, and they were onsite to give me an estimate in short order.  The estimate was so reasonable, and the company staff were so friendly and accomodating, that I approved the quote right away.  Knowing this was such a small job, I expected the company would forget about me while completing their much larger jobs.  I was definately wrong.  They called me yesterday, 6/17/15 and said they would be out that afternoon to remove and install the new trim.  When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes.  The new installation was incredible...professionally done and absolutely perfect in every way.  I phoned the company receptionist right away and told her how pleased we were with their work.  I also advised her I would recommend their company to all my friends and neighbors.  All I can say is that this was the perfect contractor for the job, and if it weren't for Angie's List, I wouldn't have heard or known about Lonestar Siding & Windows.  Thank you Lonestar for everything!!  My garage again looks brand new! <br /> Joe Sands <br /> Manakin Sabot, VA <br />"

"Mike (owner) was great to work with, very responsive.  A few days after I signed up, I changed my mind on the type of storm door I wanted. I called Mike and "No problem", he took care of everything and found me the door I wanted. He showed up with the crew on the day of the work, which I appreciate greatly.  He had to leave for another appointment but came back to oversee the work to completion (not that he had to as his team was friendly and responsive as well). There was one issue with the door sweep on one of the storm doors, Mike and the crew came up with a solution, sent a crew member immediately to hardware store and got the sweep fixed that day.  Mike even agreed to fix all the trim around one of the exterior doors, at no extra cost.  I would recommend Mike to any and all. <br />"

"The process was quick with minimal disturbance to our kitchen. They were very nicely painted and look great. I would have preferred to be able to consult with the painter in advance, discuss the level of gloss in the paint, etc. For me it is strange to purchase something so valuable never having met the contractor before. Our email communication could have been a little more complete, and including even a stock summary of the process ( where the doors are painted, how many hours it usually takes on site, what we need to do to prepare the kitchen for you) would be really helpful to have. But in the end the work looks very good and has really transformed the kitchen. I'm very glad we did it."

"We met George Hobel, to representative of the company at the Ideal Home Show in Raleigh. He came soon after to give us an estimate for both replacing the roof and installing the Gutter Glove system, to stop the gutters clogging with leaves and debris. He was very enthusiastic, informative, professional and thorough.  <br /> The roof installation was amazingly quick - just half a day. The crew swarmed over the roof like monkeys, quickly tearing off the old one and nailing down the new. Their work was very thorough and clean.  <br /> They were praiseworthy in every way, and I would heartily recommend them for both services.  <br />"

"The vehical was picked and delivered within the a scheduled time, and the delivery driver was very professional. He even provided disinfectant wipes to clean the steering wheel, shifter, doors and center console. If I need another car transported I would definitely hire UFA again."

Steve and his crew at SS Creative were the contractor I selected to repair the work. They did an excellent job matching the new construction to the old construction. Although I didn't expect it, they finished the job on Christmas Eve! I intend to call them for future projects. Excellent craftsmanship!"

"Sent request through Angies list and got a prompt reply. Steve was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He provided a quote and design for 3 closets and we ended up going with 2. Decided to not proceed with the 3rd closet because my vision for it wasn't clear. The installers were also prompt, friendly and efficient. While it is a lot of money, the bottom line is I don't have the time to do this, nor do I have the experience to do it efficiently. As a busy family, I found the experience to be delightful.
