"OMG, WILL NEVER call another contractor for a bid in Window World's area of expertise! Last week, as I was coming home from vacation, in traffic near Chicago, I received a call wanting to schedule an install date. I agreed that the following Monday would be fine. Requested an expected arrival time. was told between 8 & 9 a.m. I HAD to leave at 9:45 a.m. and did so.No-one had arrived to start siding. I put it off to bad weather. Didn't arrive home until mid-afternoon Monday. I found my 3 story home stripped of the old steel & vinyl siding AND nearly completely clad in the new insulation! The man running the crew came to my door asking if there was somewhere safe he could leave their tools etc. I was able to give them half my garage. The crew arrived shortly after 7 am.Tues. Worked until 7 pm. NON-stop! Then on Wednesday LESS THAN 3 days from starting job!!!) This crew had COMPLETED the job & was cleaning up & reloading their truck! The field supervisor was dumbfounded! The head of the crew even taught him a couple of things about siding, to make the job better with NO extra cost to homeowner! THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST! "I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

If there was something I could critique just a little it would be the clean up at the end. If the team could budget in a clean up day to make sure they were able to pick up thoroughly that would help. Overall though they did a great job with the project."

"Scott and his team are wonderful. After recently being scammed by a contractor that we hired to remodel my parent's home, I had to quickly find someone who is honest and reliable. I called Illinois Remodeling Consultants and explained our situation to Scott and he was quick to help us. He immediately went over to the property and gave us his honest observations. Because my parents were taken advantage of, he made sure that they did not have the same experience. His prices are completely fair and he even helped us with that. He took care of everything. We are so grateful to have Scott on our side. He is the best project manager and makes sure that everything is done. We are having the bathroom and floors remodeled and the back door fixed. "Agape came prepared to go up on my roof and looked in my attic to locate the areas where water was entering my interior. They communicated my options thoroughly and professionally, and far exceeded other companies that gave estimates in these regards. The price for the repair (and to replace the entire roof) was only several hundred more than some estimates, but I hands down felt more confident in Agape.

The work was completed in several hours, they cleaned up, and were pleasant to chat with.

Update: My roof was leaking in 1-2 spots the next day (but I will say my roof is in bad need of replacing on this side). Agape came out during a horrendous storm and were up on the roof as soon as it cleared to fix it. Problem solved.

Update:  I put a down payment down on the roof replacement last month; the work is not scheduled yet; and after reading some of the negative reviews from this summer, I am getting concerned about completion. I took a loan out for this!

UPDATE: After cashing a deposit in October, Mike still has not scheduled my roof and has missed multiple deadlines to schedule the work (I consistently asked for a window of time) and to provide various documentation on the work he will perform. I have document texts, emails, and phone logs--which show either a lack of professional and appropriate response or illness and being overbooked. After missing a 3rd deadline for a response, I am requesting my deposit back. For these reasons, I am changing my rating of this providers."
