He repaired several window frames and replaced some of the baseboards. I was worried about having to replace siding, but only one small piece had to be replaced. "I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. "Received a packet in the mail with the instructions and material to make a template. Follow the instructions, answered all of their questions and returned it to them. In a few weeks we received the pads. Fit perfectly and are a nice quality product."

"Anderson returned my phone call the same day and came out that evening to inspect the job. Within hours, I had a written quote via e-mail with suggested days if I contracted with him. He was able to come out 2 days later to start the work. Depsite what appeared to be a simple job, he brought tons of equipment to insure it was done properly. He also walked in with a contract to ensure we were on the same page. He lined my floors/carpet with plastic all the way from the front door to the 2 different worksites (separate floors). He covered all furniture, electronics, wall hangings, even our Christmas tree in plastic. Heck, I thought he was going to wrap our dog too! :) He kept me informed every step of the way and I was pleased with the end result - you can't tell where the repair was. All of his grades as far as workmansip are "A's or excellent". The only "good or B" was price which is not a bad grade. You have to pay for quality so I rated his cost between "fair & excellent" which was good/B. An appropriate value for the worked completed. I would hire Anderson again."

"Fantastic! Dave Brodowski and his crew were superb. They worked long, non-stop days and did excellent work (.my dad was a contractor). They removed old siding, a backer used for the siding, and then the cedar shakes we had. They replaced any bad wood underneath. Then, they put new, better, thicker (waterproof) backing up, sealed the backing edges with tape; and put up the new siding. Took them 2+ weeks. They cleaned up multiple times. I would recommend them to anyone."

"At the beginning of the project, Brian replaced and reinforced the support beams for the roof and the upper porch.  The new framing of the lower porch enclosure provided excellent support accommodating the installation of 8 vinyl windows with custom Azek trim. Brian?s attention to detail was impressive and everything matched perfectly.  During the first rainstorm
after the enclosure of the porch, we realized the porch roof leaked because earlier repairs done by another contractor five years prior.  Brian removed the related siding, along with two layers of shingles on the entire first floor roof, then reinstalled ice and
water protection, new shingles and step flashing to fix the leak quickly so as not to cause further damage by installing missing flashing and redirected the drainage system to clear rain water more efficiently. The front concrete steps were torn out and a new form was built and new concrete was poured to create the new stairs to match the stone wall. We elected not to have gray steps, so B&M Builders mixed a colored stucco to color the steps. The old stone wall was removed and a new one was built to match the original design of the house. The work on the stone wall was beyond our expectations.  The stone wall was so impressive that we still receive comments from our neighbors on the quality of the work done.  Since we loved the work so much, we had Brian and his crew perform the landscaping so as to accentuate the stone work that was done.  Brian was professional and extremely helpful in accepting the extra work. Brian also replaced a section of our back entrance sidewalk to stop water from entering our basement during rainstorms.  We are very satisfied with the work done by B&M Builders.  When problems were discovered that would impact the enclosed porch or stone wall, Brian addressed these issues and kept us under our stated budget.  After the porch enclosure was finished, including recessed ceiling lights and all trim, Brian installed an Italian ceramic tile floor that looks amazing.  I would strongly recommend B&M Builders and Brian Holder as home improvement contractors.

"Nado and his team did an amazing job at repairing and painting the exterior of our house.   The house looks like a brand new house now.   Nado's team were very professional, and their attention to detail was great.   They addressed any concerns we had throughout the process, and the results speak for themselves.   The original price on the contract was exactly what the finished price was.  We added additional work  at the end, as we were surprised there wasn't additional overages.   Nado was true to his word, treated us with respect, and never went back on any of his promises.   We had an issue with 1 of the colors being used on the deck.  There was a mis-understanding on what color we wanted on it.   A quick call to Nado resolved the issue.   His team corrected the color quickly, and it looks amazing.    The results of the project went above and beyond any of our expectations.   
 This was our first experience using Nado and and his team, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for work done on their house.  They will not disappoint you, and the results will be amazing.   They treat the work as if they were working on their own houses, wanting everything to be perfect.   We plan on having additional work done next year, and Nado will be our first call.
