After joining Angie's List this morning and reviewing multiple service providers' reviews, I elected to call Mays Appliance Service for two reasons: first, the Overall 'A' rating, and, second. because there was no hint of negative feedback on his customer service attitude. I called Dave at 10:30 a.m. and reached his voice mail. I chose to leave a message (a test of his responsiveness) and received his return call at 10:45 a.m. We agreed on an appointment time of 'early afternoon.' At 12:30 p.m., Dave called to confirm he was on his way. He arrived at 1:00 p.m. and was personable, professional and efficient. By 1:30 p.m., he was gone, my clothes were already drying, and I had his assurance my dryer was in very good shape and should continue to serve me well for some time. Dave will certainly receive my recommendation if I am asked for a reference. By the way, I rated Dave's price as Good ('B'), although I don't have a frame of reference (quotes from other providers). He may very well have deserved an 'A' . . ."
