"Jon did an excellent job repairing the trim and water damage on the outside of our home around the windows. He even adjusted the priority list of the project, given our limited budget, to focus on new found damages that were more important to fix. He was fair with cost and upfront on any changes. I will hire him again in the future. "

"In my 40+ years of life, I can count on my hands how many times I've left reviews for businesses. Positive and negative. I'm not even sure where to start in letting everyone know that John at OMNI Corporation is the most amazing company I've ever worked with! I take care of my elderly mother and when we decided it was time to fully renovate our basement built in 1969 John listened to my concerns in keeping my mother healthy and a trait that is missing in this industry he PATIENTLY listened. My goodness. Despite all the delays that inevitably came (none of which were his fault), he took ownership and made the kind of adjustments that kept the project on time and found ways to cut costs for me. I have nothing but high praise for his foreman as well. His foreman constantly stayed in touch with me and when subcontractors were running late, he would let me know right away. I'm running out of characters in this review box so all I can say is you will not regret hiring Omni 4 your project. "

"Had a new home built by these guys 3.5 years ago. We have been fixing things ever since, including but far from limited to six leaks, replacement of one ac/ furnace, They take no responsibility and won?t speak with me. We also discovered that many our appliances including stove and fridge were purchased at a scratch and dent store. They never mentioned this to us. We discovered it when dealing with issues with both fridge and stove. Currently having stucco repair work done. Just saying? they built the house next-door at the same time and the results have been pretty much the same. All I can say, if for some reason you choose Hickock Homes, negotiate your contract very carefully, also be sure you understand the limitations on the so called home warranty. during the build tRay to stay on top of things as much as possible. "Hired this person because of his Angie rating and reviews. Was very specific about NOT SUBCONTRACTING THE JOB. I was told specifically he would do the job himself . Jason was dishonest and subcontracted the job to two illegals non English speaking individual's from Colombia. They did sub rate job didn't caulk the cracks or corners and had to be called back to repair many paint issues and apply the hardware back on. They sprayed the cabinet's in my garage and got paint on the floor everywhere!! My brand new kitchen floor of 3 weeks old has a lot paint sprayed on it they did not protect the floor as they should of. My new stove has paint of the top dripped and dried on it....The entire job list also included some tile work and applying thresholds which was part of the original contract still isn't finished and Jason has had 11 scheduled appts to complete the job 5 of these were NO call no shows. All documented on my texts and emails. I cant recommend this person . Don hire him."

"We hired BCC for a design contract to renovate our house and detached workshop, and attach the two. The design process was underwhelming, we feel we were misled into the design contract, and Julie ghosted us at the end of the process. We are left with a design we didnâ t ask for and Julie wasted our time and took our money which really hurts because she knows we have a baby on the way. Before entering design, we communicated our budget to Julie, which she countered with a higher but reasonable amount. She also said she would talk to Bryan about our project. We discussed with Julie what we wanted most out of the renovation, some of which she suggested her design would change our mind about what we were looking for. At that point it made sense to enter the design process given the renovation could be done somewhere near our budget. After a month we had not heard from Julie, so we texted asking for an update. We were able to meet with her a week later. Julie shared the blueprint and some pictures of the 3D renders at this meeting. The cost she suggested to do the renovation left us dumbfounded. What was worse was that she asked us what our budget was during this meeting after we had waited more than 30 days to hear from her. The design she showed us she suggested would cost nearly double what we originally discussed. She made critical design decisions without ever asking us or discussing, such as eliminating a bedroom to add living room space. Many of the original goals of the renovation were not included in the proposed plan. We asked to revisit the plan so we arenâ t trying to construct a $950k 2 bdr house in MO that Julie seemed to think was a good idea. At about the 7-8 week mark, Julie texted asking to confirm our budget, again, before discussing whatâ s next. We spoke with her on the phone and she said she would discuss with Bryan what we can do with our original budget. We waited a couple more weeks to hear from Julie, which was longer than what she said, but she stated she was busy doing other bids. In our final conversation with Julie, she essentially told us that nearly all of the goals of the renovation we discussed are not possible with our original budget. At this stage in the process it feels like Julie low balled costs in the initial discussions to sell her design contract. Julie never tried to explain why there was such a significant cost difference between what we originally discussed versus what she quoted us later on. Most of our questions seemed to require input from Bryan, Julie also frequently told us input from Bryan was required, but Bryan never spoke with us directly. She pointed out why the project would be so expensive, but those reasons do not seem to be ones that required her $5k design contract. We expressed our frustrations to her, and suggested we didnâ t understand why the cost of this project should be so much more than what we originally discussed. We may never know as we havenâ t heard back in more than a month."
