"David came out right away to give an estimate and I had the estimate the following day. He was very personable and made sure to tell us a little about himself, his company, and his coworker Zach. We compared estimates and decided to go with David with scheduled work starting on July 28.
David, Zach, and Todd showed up July 28 around 8am. I was told that they had another job that they needed to finish up so Todd would be there all day and David/Zach would be back later.  I ran them through some of the additional work requests that were not included in the original estimate(re-tiling patch in shower, several more patches from the plumbers, baseboard). Received an estimate later that day and they even worked with us by using some left over materials from a previous  job to help lower the cost.
We stopped by mostly every day, and at least one person was there anywhere between 7-8am and 6-7pm to get things done. There was a miscommunication early on regarding when they would be finished (initially was Thursday, then got pushed back to Saturday), but was able to reschedule all my other contractors so ended up not being a problem.  They also made sure to tell us of any issues they came across (downstairs drywall was pretty affected by the asbestos removal so gave options of just replace whole thing or fix). Really great about giving us quotes right away and not altering that figure after the fact.
Overall, I think they all did a great job. They were all friendly and personable to talk to, took great care in protecting our floors, and kept us apprised of things as they went...all for a reasonable price.
Note: Asbestos ceiling removal is pretty intensive and to repair the ceiling after the fact is even more so. We had not planned on repainting, but in order to smooth out the corners between the ceiling and wall, the mud came down about 1 foot (vs a couple of inches).

"James and the Cox Custom Remodeling crew did an outstanding job on my remodel project despite the fact that I changed scope significantly multiple times during the work. The project began with a fairly modest goal to make an exterior covered deck a bit more resistant to wind and rain by adding side walls, but after the initial bid I asked if it would be possible to turn the deck into the equivalent of an interior room that could be used year-round. James presented a number of different options that were cost-effective and could be accomplished without significant structural changes to the house as I wanted to avoid major alterations if possible, and the team was able to deliver a 4-season room in just over 2 months of work (and with several more changes I added during construction) that's perfectly integrated into the original design of the building. The new room has become the focal point of the house. The crew also completed a full bathroom remodel, added several new window openings, and completed some other projects during the ~10 weeks of construction, but the new room is really what showcased the Cox Custom Remodeling expertise and ingenuity on this project. "They were absolutely fabulous and the most knowledgeable stone contractor I dealt with and there were 5 all together! They were completely professional and even when things took longer than they anticipated they did not charge me any more. I LOVE this company and will never use anyone else again! We had problems with 4 other stone contractors before they came in. They fixed all of my problems and were absolutely charming to deal with. They turned me on to some amazing cleaning products as well. I thought I had to replace our master shower enclosure and they gave me a stone cleaner that took ALL the hard water stains off of the shower door in a matter of minutes - I sprayed it on rubbed it in with no pressure at all waited 15 minutes and rinsed it off and it looked like a brand new shower. I had a cleaning business for 15 years and I never saw a product like it; it also cleans the stone in the shower of course. The owner Todd is incredibly knowledgeable and he can help you with any stone problem you have I am sure of it. They also gave me a 6 year warranty on all of the surfaces they sealed!"

"The installation was a 3 stage process. First the wall needed to be prepped in order to properly retain the marble panels. This involved removing the old dry wall and replacing it with cement backer board to ensure it was level, plum and that the marble would adhere properly. Then Rich measured each section and created templates used in fabricating the marble panels. Stage 2 involved selecting the marble and fabricating the various panels and determining placement and how the grain would flow when installed. Rich personally helped me select the marble, he had each slab pulled out of it's stack and examined, ensuring quality and price. Rich's expert advice helped me pick the perfect marble - each slab was part of the same block originally cut in Italy. Stage 3 involved the installation of the marble on the wall. The marble was incredibly heavy and required 3 people to put into place. Rich's planning and prep work ensured that the marble panels were plum, level and the seams were perfect. Rich did a fantastic job, he is quite the artisan and a meticulous craftsman - his prices are fair and worth every penny - I don't think you can find anyone better at what he does in the Pacific Northwest. I plan to hire him to fabricate and install stone countertops/island in my kitchen."

"Painting job was good. Prep work very good. (We have a 1942 house with areas where multiple layers of paint were flaking). Premier used a special primer that sealed and smoothed these areas. We had never heard of this type of primer, and the results were good. Hope longevity will be as well. Only issue was communication. We were not told about the primer and got no description of the prep process until late in the game, which was stressful as a good prep job was important to us."

"Jose and his team at J&T did an excellent job. Very pleased to have worked with them on our kitchen renovation. They were extremely informative throughout the work, helping guide us to make the right decisions as the work progressed. Additionally, J&T is very fair and transparent on the price and even helped us get better contractor discounts for the majority of our materials. Additionally, J&T worked around our schedule to see the job through. Will definitely hire again. Very happy with the J&T team and the finished product. Thanks!"

"My good friend recommended me Palm Construction on my roof replacement. I also contacted some other recommended roofing contractors and offer from Palm Construction was very acceptable. Lee and his crew started roof replacement soon after we signed a contract. Lee was very professional, honest and helpful. His crew kept working area clean as possible and they finished my roof quick and on time. The roof passed inspection and it looks great. I would highly recommend Palm Construction!"
