"Jeremy, the owner of Just A Note, did an excellent job. He was helpful, patient, knowledgeable, friendly, an excellent worker and he did a thorough job, giving me informed options and choices. I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Jeremy patiently took the time and space to answer my multitude of questions. Jeremy's price was the lowest of 3 bids I received. On Wednesday he spent 1 + 1/2 hours explaining the options and choices and patiently answered all of my questions. He returned Thursday, the next day, and took 5 hours to thoroughly clean my carpets, windows and sanitize the bed. Over the next 3 days, the urine and/or chemical odor did not go away; so Jeremy returned on Monday after the carpet had time to thoroughly dry, including the sub-pad. We discussed the options to remove the offensive odor and we decided to gas the bedroom with chlorine dioxide to eliminate all residual odors and sanitize the room. The chlorine dioxide gas treatment would normally have cost $120. However Jeremy did it for FREE !!! because he said: "I should have done a more thorough job the first time in eliminating the deeply embedded dog urine odor." This was very generous on Jeremy's behalf. Jeremy totally guaranties his work and will give a full refund if the customer is not satisfied. The second carpet cleaning company who bid, refused to do the job, because he said that the urine was all over the carpet, and suggested I replace my old carpet, a very expensive option. My initial contact with Just A Note was in reading the other Angie List reviews, all of which were rather impressive, 14 straight A's with one B. After reading the reviews, I called Jeremy and from his friendly and knowledgeable response, it was clear to me that I would choose his services provided his bid was reasonable. His bid was lower than the 1st carpet company, and the second bidder did not want to do the job, so I chose to give Jeremy and Just A Note the job. "John arrived a couple minutes early with an assistant. They set up quickly and efficiently. Worked quickly. The carpet looked great when they were finished. They took care of general dirt and troublesome spots from pets and spills. Looked refreshed. The carpet dried surprisingly quickly. John and his assistant disposable booties when walking on cleaned carpet and left a pair for me. <br />"

"I wish I took before and after pictures.  The difference is phenomenal.  I found Clear Shine through a stone and marble store.  Originally, I had some other tile people give me bids, but I knew they weren't capable of cleaning the way I knew the stone was supposed to be cleaned.  Huge difference between tile cleaners and stone restoration!  I couldn't be happier and the finished product is beyond my expectations. <br />"

"Great, we started the project during a recent Home Show. Evan came the house and submitted to us a proposal. We set up an appointment for them to install the floor on April 6th. We received a message early the week before telling us that the crew would be there at 7 AM. They were there on time. Took them about four hours to remove the old floor cover, diamond grind the existing concrete, install the base coat and vinyl chips which gave the floor it's texture. <br /> They left for about three hours while the base coat dried. When they returned the covered the vinyl chips with the Polyaspartic covering. They told us to let this dry for about three hours and left about 6 PM <br /> The next morning, right at 7 AM, they returned to reinstalled all the closet doors, and move the washer and dryer back into place. This took about two hours. <br /> The floor looks wonderful and probably will outlive the house <br />"

"Ken Kiest was always punctual and very professional. He was consistently patient as we took time making decisions. We are very happy with our completed floor. It was flawlessly matched to the existing hardwood and the color is exactly what I had in mind. The installers came on time and finished the job in about 5 days. Although some problems cropped up along the way, Ken kept to his promise of customer satisfaction. He makes sure the workmen come back to fix any areas we are not happy with, definitely a very valuable feature. The carpet installation went extremely well and we are very pleased with it. We highly recommend Ken Kiest and wouldn't mind if he was the overseer of all our future home projects. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"I spoke with Tony directly prior to making the appointment to give the size of the home (1100 sq. ft.) and exactly which rooms I required cleaning service in; also informed him that there were 4-5 bad spots (dog regurgitation stains). Tony quoted me a price of $139 and told me he could fit me in over the next few days. I thought the price was a bit excessive but confirmed that I would like him to perform the work. <br> <br>True to his word, Tony called back two days later and was able to personally come by about an hour later. I was able to move most of the stuff off the floor and out of the way to give him the best possible access. He started the work and about half-an-hour later, two more of his crew showed up. Tony personally supervised cleaning two of the worst stains and then left one young man to finish the job. <br> <br>On the plus side, the carpets look a million times better and the two worst stains (as supervised by Tony before he left) came up and seem to be completely resolved. <br> <br>My issues are: (1) before leaving, Tony arbitrarily raised the price ... this <i>after </i>knowing from the phone call what was involved; <i>after </i>inspecting the area to be cleaned and the stains involved; and <i>after </i>commencing the work. Not cool. And (2) I asked if I could call him back if I had any problems afterwards and he wasn't very encouraging ... at all. So of course (3) now that the work is completed there are 2 spots which were apparently skipped and I don't feel comfortable with the idea of calling him back. <br> <br>I probably will not use them again only because when you quote a price, have ample opportunity to inspect the job beforehand and commence work, it seems very unprofessional to then raise the price of the job once it has begun. <br> <br> <br>"
