"Mr. James Ryan of JRS Maintenance came to my home to replace the old pipes under my kitchen sink. He was extremely professional, polite, and accommodating when he made the appointment with me via text and phone confirmations. Customer service and courteous treatment were at the forefront of the conversations. When James arrived to do the work, he was prompt, clean, skilled, and knowledgeable. He went right to work and answered any questions I had for him pertaining to the job at hand. He even attached the pipes I need to install a new dishwasher. He advised me to get a new dishwasher, instead of fixing the old one. Many plumbers would fix the old one even if it wasn't advantageous to do so, just for the fee. "We had a main water line leak between two houses on our property. We received 4 estimates to replace the pipe. All recommended replacing vs trying to repair the pipe. Advanceds’ estimate wasn't the lowest, there was one lower estimate but we elected to go with them because their technicians (Jason and Taz) were so helpful and so pleasant. We felt we could trust them to do a good job as quoted and do it on time. This job was difficult as the main line lies underground beneath asphalt driveway and lawn. The asphalt and the lawn are separated by a low wooden retaining wall. The plan was to dig a trench straight through from house to house and replace the existing pipe with a new pipe. We would later have to repave the trench which would be roughly 50’ long. In addition, we would probably have to rebuild the older retaining wall. The day of the project the owner of the company, Sam, studied the situation and came up with a different plan. He and his team were able to push the pipe through the sleeve which held the broken pipe!! This prevented any need to dig!! No digging!! No breaking up the asphalt, no need to repave, no need to reseed the lawn, no need to fix the retaining wall!! Done. In a matter of hours. Can you imagine our relief? Our actual invoice was for less than half of what was originally quoted. Sam also saved us a lot of money in future repaving and possibly repairing the short retaining wall costs. Sam is not only very knowledgable but is a man with integrity. My feeling throughout this experience with Advanced is that we were all on the same team. Props as well to Isha who works in the office. Isha patiently answered all of our questions and was helpful all around. All scheduling was quick and punctual and we were kept in the loop through it all. A great team who take pride in their work! "Guy and his team, including foreman Al Hayes, were extremely good, the best contractor we have ever worked with. They came immediately, did an excellent job in a very complex cleaning job of a sewer backup in a basement filled with stuff. They did so efficiently, with complete consideration for us and for helping us sort what to keep and not. They removed truckloads of stuff. They left us with a remarkably clean basement with no residue from the back-up and fully sanitized. Their whole crew was courteous, pleasant, respectful and very careful of all our things. Guy was always part of the process and always immediately responsive to calls and questions. He went above and beyond, taking time to advise us on a variety of house issues, which was very helpful. They later came back and cleaned the attic, which had been filled with black dust from a roof installation, again as well as before. Al also repaired some tile work for us in his spare time at a very reasonable price. I believe the pricing for all of this was quite reasonable for the very fine work performed.
