"Everything was done as advertised. Really like my new carpet and got a great price. The installers worked like crazy, spent more than 10 hours they never even took a break. They earned every penny of what they make."

"I originally hired Carpet Police to clean the carpets in my house. They were the first to respond when I got on Angie's List. Somehow, Carpet Police got usurped by another company called Arizona Island. Arizona Island did a terrible job and I called Carpet Police, again, to please come and repair the bad carpet cleaning that was done. Carpet Police did as good a job as I could possible expect to fix what went wrong. Alfonso was efficient, friendly, wore his mask when he was inside and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

"I found Anasi Flooring on Angie's list and am very pleased to provide an outstanding review for them.    Jekiah is one of the most pleasant people you could ever work and was knowledable, honest, professional, and 100% helpful every step of the way.  His crew of guys were just fantastic -- hard working, clean, efficient, and excellent at what they do.   We went with a Shaw "fired hickory" porcelain plank tile that was put in through over half of our house.   It looks beautiful, just like real wood, but less expensive and much easier to care for.  We did the baseboards in the same planks, split to 3" boards.  We are completely satisfied with our experience with Anasi Flooring and plan on re-doing carpet in a few rooms with them soon.  I'm a big Costco fan, but remarkably, Costco's bid was almost DOUBLE what I paid with Anasi for the exact same product.  Please check out this family-owned Tucson small business, and be confident that they will do a great flooring job for you at a very fair price.   Jekiah, Jorge, and the crew have my highest recommendation.   Thanks for an awesome job, guys.  Our house looks amazing!      A++++++ <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Awesome job! They were super communicative in the estimate and scheduling process. The install crew were all really nice guys who did an amazing job. Our floors look beautiful. We have a stone fireplace and the installers went way above and beyond making the floor sit right against it instead of just grouting the gap. We seriously could not be happier."

"They did the installation really well. The manufacturing took eight weeks. They didn't call me because it was delayed. Overall the job was excellent, they made up for it. Their price was very good. The people came out on time and as scheduled. I would use them again the future."

"This is actually the second job John and Ed have done for us. The first was a bathroom and the second was a kitchen/pantry laundry room/bathroom combination. As a very picky customer I was immensely impressed with his attention to detail, neatness, creativity and work ethic. John actually offerred several changes and tips to our vision of the tile project that changed the overall look of the job immensely. On the second job they had to repair and prepare the wood subfloor for the tile. To make sure the quality of the installation would hold, they drilled and screwed each plank of the subfloor before adding the Vitra, cement and tile. They even checked with the manufacturer to make sure what they were doing would insure the Vitra's warranty. I guess the best testament is that we are looking to do a couple more jobs with him and have referred him to several others. He is also on Az Tiles's preferred installation list."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Green Valley, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
