"I came to the link to share it with a friend who is looking for a contractor because I wanted to recommend her to Joseph and Sons and realized I have not written my review yet. I know is a late review though the feeling is the same :) I met with Angelo in the winter of 2019 - a tree had fallen over our roof, we had damage in different areas of the house including the deck. I will make it efficient for you guys; 1. They worked around my budget and went above and beyond 2. They cleaned up after themselves every time 3. Staff was extremely respectful. No music, or Loud conversations and absolutely nice. We enjoyed getting coffee for them and sweets for late afternoon snacks. 4. They will get the job done the way you have imagined it, not the way they think is best. 5. Angelo understands your needs and will help you get as much load off your shoulders as possible. 6. Clean finishes. Sharp paint skills. Detailed focused. 7. Angelo understands how the HOI works, and all the possible ways things could end up working out, so we were always prepared and the job came to finish under the full given budget by the HOI co. 7. I hired him for a few other things at home. 8. They did; new roof, full master bath reno, master wall, second bath ceiling, guest room wall+ceiling, kids room wall + ceiling, second-floor whole-way ceiling, kitchen ceiling, deck reno + pain, AC repairs, paint outside and inside, gutters. They are truly awesome, it was a blessing from heaven having them to help us deal with so much stuff. If I have more projects to do at home I will be calling Angelo again."

"We recently had our deck redone by SB General Construction. We are blown away by the final product, which exceeded our expectations. Sokol, the owner, was wonderful to work with. He provided daily updates, was on site daily, had great recommendations, and always responded promptly to our texts or calls. His entire team was professional, respectful, and hard working. He completed the entire job, which included replacing our wooden deck and stairs with trex, adding a roof over the deck which includes a fan, recessed lighting, heaters, and a tv, in 7 days. This was slightly ahead of schedule. Sokol and his team even worked on Saturday and Sunday. We would highly recommend them for any project and we have already hired them for another."

"John and his team are ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC and i would highly recommend. I had just purchased a home that had been partially renovated by the previous owner. John did a full basement finish, outdoor deck rebuild, front stoop/landing rebuild, repaired/installed a garage roof, replaced windows and doors (interior and exterior), and many other projects related to these and others that arose throughout the project. John’s work was excellent, on time, and within budget. He was also friendly and easy to work with, sending me weekly status updates including both timing and budget. On multiple occasions throughout the project he identified unforeseen issues (e.g. rotted wood, debris that needed to be removed, pipes that were incorrectly installed or cut) and kept me updated and fixed the issues. John also handled ordering all parts (with my consultation) e.g. , handles, doorknobs, wallpaper, doors, hooks, etc. I highly recommend John and his team for any project."
