"Arrived promptly.  Not knowing where the tank was, I shared the blueprint and pipe leaving the house.  He had me flush a signal device which he then tracked to the precise location.  He dug down to the tank lid.  Pumped 1,250 gallon tank.  <br /> Provided me with valuable information I was not aware of.  Water level was above pipe and should have been below, could indicate issue with leach field or just be because we were overdue for being pumped.  If we notice toilet gurgling, we will call him back to investigate the leach field.  Recommended pumping every 4 years and flushing 16 oz. warm water with 5-6 yeast cubes dissolved, monthly.  Recommended single ply toilet paper, liquid soaps and detergents, no feminine products, no 'flushable' wipes, and no grease.  <br /> Thankfully we had removed the existing garbage disposal already.  They are a no-no for septic systems.  Not sure what the original homeowners were thinking.  ;-) <br /> I am going to buy two 24" round 6" high plastic risers and a 24" round lid so the tank will not have to be dug up after the next pump. <br /> I paid by credit card and was given a receipt, a magnet with the pump date and recommended next schedule date, and two business cards. <br /> Very personable and I highly recommend! <br />"

"My septic was failing. Rob Ratta and Mark McKenna (Business Manager) basically handled everything. Plans were drawn up and accepted by the town. Rob brought the plans over and reviewed them with me. I had an extensive job as there was a drive over the old septic. To replace the drive would have increased the cost of the system considerable. Rob made the suggestion of making the drive into lawn. I thought about it and liked the idea (although I do miss the drive too!). Rob gave me a lot of time to make all the decisions and Mark was there when I needed some advice or guidance. I obtained a loan from the town for the septic which required me obtaining 3 quotes. I noticed that the other companies that were contacted did not do a thorough job and were not really serious to give me a quote. Rob had made sure that the front area would look good after the work because of the change from having a huge drive to the area turned over to a lawn. <br /> The actual work was completed in 5 days not only included the removal of the old tank and replacement with two tanks, but the water line had to be moved and a large quantity of fill was needed to create the lawn. The employees were friendly, courtesy and efficient. Work was completed excellently. The new lawn area was seeded and the new drives were left with grading and stone dust ready to receive the drive surface that I decided to add (all agreed ahead of time). Rob and Mark and Jen are all wonderful to work with and one of the employees was travelling from RI just because the company was an excellent company to work for. <br />"

"I have had water in my basement for several days got a lot pumped out but continued to have water. We called Rowell's and two technicians came and tried to unclog the floor drains. They tried to get the water to flow but as we have no idea where the water goes it could not get unclogged, They suggested making a new drain with a sump pump so I would NEVER have to deal with this again. Brent and Mike were great, understanding and Brent even called two times to see if everything was okay , and when I told him water was accumulating again near the drain so he suggested I put the pump connected to a garden hose back on until they can get here to fix my water problems in the basement he even offered to come back over, Thank you so much."

"When I contacted the company on Monday and described problem (wet soil above tank), they reacted appropriately and scheduled service for the next day. I used email for communications and they responded within 30 minutes of initial email. Due to the uncertain nature of what they find in systems they are servicing for the day, they specified a rather large service window (between 7:30 am and 3 pm). They came in late morning and were finished within an hour. They explained everything they were doing and showed me how the brine from back flushing my water conditioner was adversely affecting my system. They showed me how the filter had become clogged. They recommended a solution that I could do myself, although they offered to provide a quote if I want them to do the work. However, they did not pressure me and just advised me to get the work done before permanently damaging the system. I was very satisfifed with the service and the price appeared comparable with other prices posted on-line by others. <br />"

"Serviceman arrived and within 10 minutes the problem was solved. However, I was shocked by the price of the service. $120.00 for 10 minutes work is outrageous. I realize there is a charge to walk in the door but charging me the equivalent of $720.00 an hour to clear a bar of soap is excessive."
