"We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

"Customer Service was by far above expectations. I felt my basement was as important to Pella as it was to me. Also, we were given great recommendations throughout the process. Quality of the work was very good. Only area for improvement was that the upfront estimate had a couple minor misses, and I would have liked the laminate planks to have been laid with 3-4 row repeating pattern rather than a 2 row; but I never made that expectation known upfront. Overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend!"

Despite the language barrier, he used Google Translate skillfully to ensure we were always on the same page. Throughout the project, he kept us informed and even handled extra fixes at no additional cost. It was clear he took great pride in his work, and his attention to detail showed in every aspect of the renovation. By the end, we genuinely felt like we had made new friends in William and Miguel. They did a fantastic job bringing our 1930s house—never before renovated—into a modern and beautiful state. They tackled everything from a complete kitchen demo down to the framing: new insulation, ceilings, floors, walls, appliances, cabinets, a partial wall removal to make room for a gorgeous kitchen island with pendant lighting, and the meticulous restoration of the original hardwood floors. They even went above and beyond after the project was finished, coming back to help us set up exterior security cameras. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they always had an eye for aesthetics while staying within our budget. We couldn't be happier with the transformation they've achieved, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a home renovation. "The carpenter that did the job (Adam) was amazing. He had to expand the space for one window, narrow the space for another, and repair much cedar siding that had rotted away due to water damage. He also reshaped my patio door so it would close and lock more easily. He is a very talented carpenter and I have no qualms about highly recommending him."
