They installed a bathroom with a grinder pump for the sewage, built a closet for the pump, HVAC, and hot water heater which also created storage space for us. built a kitchenette, added bead board to existing walls, installed a ship lap ceiling, and replaced two exterior doors. The finishing details were more than we asked them to do, so it was a pleasant surprise when we came home to a staged basement. It was nice to have people go the extra mile since it is so hard to find hard workers these days. I highly recommend Handymack for all your home improvement needs. They took care of everything from the building, electrical, and plumbing, and their labor cost was a fair price. Thank you, Handymack!"

"We have a deck over our finished sunroom. It has leaked at least 5 times in the last 10 years. Jeremy and his crew added a 4'x8' section to the deck and in doing so discovered why the deck has been leaking. The original shoddy workmanship done by the original builder was uncovered and found that a large portion of the deck was completely rotted. Jeremy and his crew did a fantastic job of replacing all the rotten components. Then they totally waterproofed the entire deck the way it should have been done originally. They put down all new porcelain tile and made sure it drained properly. They added new railings and a number of other cosmetic things that have produced a fantastic looking and wonderfully functional deck. I cannot say enough about the work ethic and incredible standard of pride in workmanship that every member of the crew demonstrated. Jeremy has been wonderful to work with. He has kept us completely informed along every step of the process. He is a fantastic person and has the kind of work ethic that reminds me of what makes America great. If I could give 10 stars for Quality, Ethical Standards and Genuine Concern for the job I would be glad to do so. We have two more projects to have done here at the house and I would not consider anyone else but Jeremy and his crew. Call Jeremy and I promise you will be as ecstatic with the results as we are."

"Great service. I appreciate all of the communication throughout the job and all of the work that was accomplished. I needed the floor supported in my bathroom, a beam replaced over my porch, a handrail installed on the back deck, a door latch repair, and a slab poured to level my ac unit. The whole crew came and they were able to knock it out in a day! They even added additional supports under the floor in the living room that we hadnâ t discussed during the initial visit. I appreciate the service, the honesty, and the communication. I will definitely be working with Cantrell Construction for my future projects!"

"The project lasted about a week and a half.  Overall, the flooring looks great.  There was a leak in the hot water supply line once they removed the dishwasher and disconnected the kitchen sink.  I don't want to blame them for that because the pipe is CPVC and the plumber who came out and fixed it said the pipe was brittle.  I think it just got bumped too hard and the glue at the joint gave out.
The owner, Chris, pointed out a twisted supply connection on the kitchen faucet so I bought a new one for them to install.
The price came in about $1000 less than another contractor had quoted."

"Let me start with Donnie and his employees (when they show up) do a very good job. The work is high quality. The bidding process is not standard. The prices fluctuate as things become noticeable throughout the job, which is understandable. Donnie could improve upon this by investing in a bidding software such as Stackct or Capterra. Our project did run a bit longer than normal due to unforseen circumstances, weather, and due to lack of help on the job. Overall we are very pleased with the work performed. I am giving Donnie an A on my review because I want him to do well with his business, but I hope he will improve on his punctuality and work on a better bidding process that clearly indicates what you are paying for up front. He is not a scam artist or crook like others mentioned in previous reviews. He is a single dad just trying to make a living."
