He helped us to make a difficult and expensive purchase decision. The contract was signed Friday evening and the work was completed by Thursday afternoon. "They were hired to screen in my covered patio & do some painting. I showed them pictures of what I wanted & explained in detail the color, the extra painting, & the dog door I wanted included. They gave me a price for everything, & said they’d start Monday & finish in a couple of days. They started Tuesday, & stopped work Thursday with the job only half done. They didn’t do the work as I requested & haven’t returned. They only assigned one worker who apparently didn’t understand the color I wanted for the woodwork, the extra painting, the dog door or what the completed job should look like. They don’t show up, when they say they will & I have no confidence that the work will be completed as I requested. In most cases, you do not need to hire an architect for a garage conversion. An experienced garage conversion contractor usually has the skills to help create your desired design and ensure the project meets building codes. However, if your conversion involves complex structural changes or a large-scale redesign, hiring an architect can be beneficial. An architect can provide detailed plans and oversee the design to maximize space and functionality, ensuring the conversion aligns with your vision and complies with all regulations.
