I contacted Daily Rain because of some of the reviews I read.  I'm glad I did.
When I first contacted them, the person on the phone was very easy to talk with and explained to me the process.  I arranged to meet with Jerry, the owner, at my property to explain my needs.
I told him I wanted a sprinkler system and then drainage for some of my downspouts including the sump pump drain pipe.
After he gave me the quote, including the Angie's List Discount, I signed up.  
I originally scheduled the install for July 17, Rick who was the lead installer called me the day before asking if we could start.  Unfortunately we were out of town on Vacation, but it is very refreshing to have a company offer the start of a job ahead of schedule.
Unfortunately, we asked him to start on the 17th.  When they did they were as professional as they get.  The arrived, and explained to me what they were going to do.  Afterwards they gave me a quick rundown of the equipment and how to do the basic stuff.
I'm very pleased with the setup and my new SOD is also!!
I will definitely contact Daily Rain in the future, especially for maintenance of my system.

"It is going fine for now. Ongoing during snow months. Currently everything is wonderful as really only snowed when parking lot was empty and not needed immediately. Will see how it all works out once people back in parking lot and snow removal becomes more complicated. But, I'm very pleased with work so far. The property is a sorority house - ergo - once students back in house will need ice and snow controlled quicker due to safety issues."

"Optimist Technician, Jerome McCarter, came out diagnosed the problem and corrected it. He was punctual, professional, thorough and respectful. He also gave me tips on maintenance of the system. I was delighted that he got the system up and running as it was extremely hot in the house. He did a great job."

"We live in a heavily wooded area and have used Preservation before.  Emerald Ash Borer killed 15 very tall ash trees; my husband took down many himself, but we had 5 that were potentially dangerous to either our home or our neighbors.  Tom called Preservation and Jeff called back and came out promptly to review the situation.  Three of the trees were definitely precarious and 2 of them could not be reached by the truck.
On Wednesday, the crew came out promptly at 9:00 a.m. and went to work.  They removed the trees closest to our home using the truck.  They dropped the tops and cleaned up the debris to a site that my Husband designated.  Through the day they proceeded to remove the 3 that were least dangerous, then they worked on the 2 that were the most problematic.
The tree to the north was leaning and caught up in another tree.  The crew climbed the tree and removed the top and then the larger limbs.  The crew reviewed their processes and determined the best way to proceed. They tied the tree to another tree, then he got down and was able to move the truck close to a limb that was caught in another tree.  When he cut the limb, it released the main portion of the tree and the whole tree came down.  Because he had tied it to another, they were able to control the direction of the fall.
From there they went to the north side with an even larger tree.  They followed the same procedure as above and were able to take that tree down safely as well.
Since then, the wind from Hurricane Sandy has been impacting Michigan; wind gusts today of 35 mph.  The possibility of those trees coming down on their own was high.
So, once again, Preservation was called, responded quickly, came out and safely removed the trees.  They cleaned up behind them, were very professional and charged a very fair price.  They are our go to people for anything related to tree removal, and because of our experience with them we have recommended them to our neighbors who have also used them.  You will not go wrong using this great firm!

"After a hard rain we had a pond form on the driveway as a result of the outdoor drain system being clogged. I got an immediate callback from the company at 7:30 am, and Jason came to my house the same day. He was able to figure out exactly where the clog was located and how it was caused. He was very knowledgeable, and returned first thing the following morning with a piece of machinery to clear the pipe and muck out the basin. He also had very helpful suggestions for ways we can avoid this problem in the future. I would not hesitate to have him back to solve any other plumbing issue."
