"Crawlspace Medic - Augusta recently worked on our crawlspace. We were having moisture and water issues, a moisture barrier we previously put in had almost disintegrated, and originally-installed insulation was falling down. Kevin did a thorough inspection and gave me a comprehensive estimate, and his crew arrived timely and went right to work. They constructed a French drain within the crawlspace to drain off any water that would collect under the house, installed new insulation between all floor joists in the crawlspace, and installed a new, white 10-mil vapor barrier throughout the crawlspace. They taped over the seams and spiked the vapor barrier. We had previously installed an exhaust fan. They cleaned up the debris, and the crawlspace looks better than it ever has since we built our home in 1996. They worked continuously and did an excellent job. Tanner was very conscientious and came back to finish up. We are very pleased with the work they did on our home and feel so much better and secure about our crawlspace."

"f you’re using Mountaineer Pest Services, I was strongly urge you to find another provider. They gladly charge $59/mo for service, but when I called to check, because I couldn’t remember seeing a notice of a visit for a couple months, the receptionist acknowledged that they hadn’t been out since Jan 30th, which was the first time since Helene at the end of last September. I left multiple messages for several days for the owner, Michael Pace, with no response. I found his cell phone in an online listing and he pretty much told me to “go f—- myself” and that he didn’t care or have any reason to refund for not providing any service. I hate blasting small businesses, but this is basically theft at this point and the owner’s response is to pretty much laugh in my face. If you are using them, please call and check to make sure you’re actually getting the service you’re paying for, but I would suggest moving along to someone who actually wants to do the work they’re being paid to do."
