"This company was very professional and efficient to work with. Itâ s hard to get people to do a thorough job these days. These guys went above and beyond. They got the job done in a timely manner. They did a great, high quality job. Communication all the way through the job. If every company delivered like these guys did, this world would be a better place. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a fair price for high quality insulation install!!"

"I have a 50-year-old brick home with uninsulated walls and high utility bills have always been a concern. Since I have a lot of wallpapered interior walls, I wanted to avoid the old method of drilling a large hole that would have to be patched from the inside. The Retrofoam system sounded like the best solution. The team arrived on the job site promptly, went right to work drilling out access holes in the existing brick walls. Holes were small enough to not affect the bricks just the mortar. The foam was then injected it each hole then plugged and patched. Each patch matched my mortar color exactly and is practically invisible. Afterwards the cleanup was neat and professional. I think my house is now fully prepared for any future cold seasons. This is a good company with a great product. <br />"

"Horn Brothers has replaced a number of shake roofs in our neighborhood, so we went with them.  Very professional and courteous. Relatively expensive compared to other options, but high quality product and installation.   Project took about a week.   Job site was kept extremely clean each night. <br />"

"We hired Paramount Siding and Windows to replace our windows and sliding glass door. The entire process from our first meeting with the owner, Brandon, to the Installation, was a pleasant experience. They have a showroom down south which was very helpful because none of the window companies we met with have a showroom. We were able to view several different types of windows by different manufacturers. Who knew windows come with so many different options? We are very happy with our new windows and plan to get more done very soon. I would highly recommend this company for your window needs."

"Excellent! When I called the business number, Chuck answered. No long menus or recorded messages! He arrived at our house within an hour of my call, checked out the situation and our requirements, and gave us an immediate quote. He returned the following morning with the alarm equipment. The entire system was up and running within 2 hours. <br /> Chuck worked diligently to be sure everything was perfectly installed. He clearly explained how to use the system, and he left us written instructions and a DVD users guide. He gave us his business card and wrote his name and phone number on the printed alarm user guide. He told us to be sure to phone him if we have any questions or if we want to add anything to the system. <br /> Chuck has over 25 years of experience in the security alarm business, and he is an expert. And I like to be able to support a local small business. I highly recommend this company for anyone considering any kind of security alarm system. <br />"

"Bob is phenomenal! A craftsman and perfectionist, He had great ideas and workmanship in helping with a re-design of our deck to make it more functional. He works quickly, easy to communicate with and he is there when he says he will be there. Our drywall repair was done quickly and looks great! His pricing for all he does is more than fair!! I highly recommend Woodpecker Workshop! Pricing below was for deck and includes tear out and all new materials and labor.."

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in Gunnison, CO

Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.

It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.

Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
