"My initial contact was with Mark in late August or early September. We had arranged to meet and discuss the work that I wanted performed (pointing up the mortar on the brick chimney and under the windows on the front of the house). There were scheduling problems (for both parties) after one or two attempts and I was later contacted by Josh, who finally came out to my house in mid September to look at the job. I was impressed with Josh's knowledge, enthusiasm, and answers to my questions.
After discussing the scope of work to be performed, Josh assured me that someone would get back to me within a week with an estimate so we could schedule the job over the winter months. After a week went by, I called to see of they were working on an estimate and was assured that they "hadn't forgotten about me". After another 2 or 3 weeks, I called both Mark and Josh and left a message to see what was up as far as the estimate and scheduling.
It is now the second week in December and still I've heard nothing. I like these guys and I would like to have them perform the work, but at this point, I don't know if they are too busy or just don't want to do the work because it is not a big job. If that is the case, it would help if they would just tell me so. I hate to look elsewhere, but communication is an issue here so I may have to give up on these guys. Too bad.
I rated them as a "C" overall, with a "D" for responsiveness (or lack thereof) offset by a "B" in punctuality and professionalism
 for the time when Josh did show up.

They completely waterproofed my exterior walls and repainted everything. Everything looks brand new and I'm completely confident that it will hold up well with this crazy Maryland weather. "They hauled away trash, but I was told by the lady that came they did not take construction debris. The deal specifically states: "Removal of just about anything around your home, office, retail space, rental unit, warehouse, storage unit or job-site including old furniture, office equipment, boxes, construction debris, yard waste, appliances and more." They would not remove sheet rock or construction debris in contractor bags. Because I had plenty of junk to be removed they did fill up their truck. This, however, is false advertising.

"Mid Atlantic Concrete removed my deck and installed a patio. The patio turned out larger than expected. They also included a handrail for my mother, which was needed for the three steps. The owner was on site for some of the project completions and worked with me, and was easy to communicate with. They did a great job!"

"Mulch and trimming were done right away and looked very nice, although some weeds have sprouted up from the mulched area.



Installation of pavers took 3 months to even begin, but it was done in one day. The constant rain played a part for the delay, but I did feel that the project was on the back burner. We wanted the pavers to match the patio pavers in color. We went with his recommendations. The pavers do not match - appear the same color of cement pavement. Upon inquiry, was told that they had heard that a lot and that it will take a few months and color may change. The installation looks great but we are very disappointed with the color and hope it does change to match the patio. I will respond back in a few months and let you know if pavers did change color.

"Dave did a great job. He removed a large, thick concrete porch that was difficult to get to. He also installed a concrete sidewalk, and removed some large bushes. He did the work quickly and at a fair price. I would definitely hire him again."
