From the initial site visit to preparing a fair and reasonable estimate, and then clearing the underbrush/overgrowth that overwhelmed whatever desirable perennials we wished to keep around, the crew worked skillfully and diligently on a Sunday morning to give us the blank slate we wanted for a garden bed that was unsightly and downright unpleasant. "Work went exceptionally well from start to finish. We were referred by a friend, and called Adam for a quote on a small landscape re-design job. Adam met with us several times to get an idea of what we were looking for and to discuss details of timing/options/cost for the job. He did a good job of listening and providing suggestions to get us to exactly what we were looking for. He also did a good job of letting us know what our options were without over-promising or pushing us over our budget, which is pretty hard to find. The work was done quickly, and the quality/attention to detail was excellent. The crew showed up on time, was friendly, and did a great job of cleaning up/not ripping up the yard. Probably most importantly, Adam had the best communication skills of any landscaper/contractor I've ever hired. He responded quickly to phone calls/texts, and didn't let any planning/details go until he was sure that my wife and I were on the same page with him. "Would only communicate via email. Never returned my calls. Scheduling was a problem. Wanted to be present for the review/quoting of the driveway as there were cracks that I thought needed filling. Tried to call after first application of sealant. The edges were not covered. The second application was better, but there are still a few spots that are thinly covered. The areas with the small cracks were coated thicker and appear okay. Sealant is supposed to last 3 years. Time will tell if the sealant holds up as well as the stuff sold at Home Depot."
