"We interviewed a number of landscapers prior to meeting with Gwyny, the owner of Bottoms Up Gardens.  However, none of the other landscapers quite matched Gwyny?s knowledge and level of expertise for creating a drought-free landscape.  Once we agreed to pursue with her services, Gwyny set up a date for service.  Gwyny and her entire crew arrived promptly at 8 a.m. (the agreed upon time), and went right to work. Although there was some noise with the rototiller, there was almost no sound from the backyard once it was turned off??as each member of the crew quietly worked in harmony to complete the project.  Before leaving, the crew cleaned off every speck of dirt from our driveway.
All in all, Bottoms Ups performed a superb job with our landscape!

"It was ok. They weren't so quick on responsiveness. I didn't really interact with them much. 

It's not that they gave bad service, I just didn't think they were that great. I have a little patch of grass I thought that they could have thrown a couple more seeds on top of. They came out to aerate, but there there is a section of my grass that they could of spent a little more care on. They were out there anyways. Seemed like they just ran their little machine and took off.  

They did do the soil analysis. It seemed like they were in a rush.

"Trimmed our overgrown mulberry tree that was leaning onto the roof, and the neighbor's yard. They came once and trimmed, we decided the next day to pay for a few more branches removed, and they came back promptly that week. Price was reasonable both times--sorry, can't remember what we paid, but it was lower than other tree guys. We'll hire again when this giant mulberry gets too big again."

He kept us appraised of his schedule because of all the rain this year. First day and every day thereafter he and his crew arrived as scheduled, they worked hard, explaining what doing or needed to be done as the job went along. Suggested we think about adding a couple of trees to balance out the yard and we agreed. Matched the planter color to the existing wall and it looks like it has always been there.
