"It took a long time for them to come here. I was dealing with them last year. I was really upset because I waited for them. He came to the door and I didn't hear him knock. I don't have a bell. He never called me. I was really upset. They said it would take months and months for him to come back because he had so much work. That's exactly what happened. He did not get back here until April. He fixed it and he did a good job, but I'm afraid it didn't work. I don't think that was his fault. There is something wrong with the structure of the whole building."

"This was a large roof replacement. It took 2 days to remove the old roof and gutters, 2 days to install the new roof, and half a day to install the new gutters and downspouts. Overall was pretty happy with this company. We have used them for some small repairs on our old roof, but were tired of the constant repairs so just decided to get a new roof. It was a lot of money, but it was the middle quote (of the 3 we received) and has a good warranty. Guys working were professional, nice and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and did a larger cleanup once roof was completed. We did find some nails and other debris in the yard/garden area afterward, but none in the driveway which was great. Very easy to work with the office staff and the crew chief at the job site. Overall, I would highly recommend them. "

"1/31/2024 We had 7 feet of snow in the middle of the month here in West Seneca An unfortunate consequense of that was that the melting snow on the roof turned into VERY heavy icicles and when they came down, they took down the gutter system that Black Rock installed in 2021. I called Black Rock to see if it could be replaced and to have the roof examined. They got out here "same day" and replaced the gutter the very next day. "Technician was very professional and candid, but would not repair leak without installing an in-line valve due to liability issues. Quote for installing a valve ($600) was too high for me, so with technician's feedback/advice I decided to cap the line later myself at the T-junction in the basement (rather than installing a valve) since we don't actually use the fireplace gas line. I was disappointed that technician didn't do such a simple thing as capping the line himself for the service call fee, and maybe he would have capped it if he had the right sized cap on hand, but wasn't worth paying him to go get just a cap and return to install it at $80+/hr. Still, he was at our place for nearly an hour investigating the issue and discussing options, so at least we had his full attention and honest, informed opinion."

"Great. The owner came out and took pictures of the chimney inside and out. Explained why the inside was deteriorating and what could happen down the road. He sent us the pictures and estimate. We went with it and were extremely happy with the results. The guy who came out to do the work was wonderful. The job is perfect!"

He installed it and cleaned up everything and I was very happy with that. I called the company on Friday and he had the part on Monday. I have them on speed dial."
