"I hired Arnold Masonry to find and fix a water leak in my chimney that had somehow survived two previous masons / chimney repairs, re-flashing twice, and replacing the roof. The good: * He was the only mason (of this round) who even returned my call. * He was the first to suggest that he starts by finding the leak with a garden hose. * He found the leak on the first day, and identified that the problem was a crumbling chimney cap due to inferior construction. * He replaced the chimney cap, and the leak has stopped (even through two hurricanes). * Total time: 3 days of labor, totaling about $4500. The bad: No complaints about the masonry performed, but * The leak-finding method only works if he actually sprays water into the leak. I didn't mind-- The interior stains were so bad that I didn't mind making them worse and I was pretty desperate to fix the problem-- but it makes the damage worse before it makes it better. (And you need to sign a waiver for the damage.) * He wants to be paid cash, on a daily basis. However, he does not seem to like to make predictions about how much each day will cost, so you either need to have a lot of cash on hand or run out to the bank when he finished for the day."

"We needed to replace a patch of our living room ceiling due to damage from a water leak upstairs. We contacted C&B, who responded and quoted us a price quickly. The price was fair for a multi-day job, they got it done within a week, and they even helped us repaint the ceiling. Very professional, courteous, and trustworthy. We'd strongly recommend!"

"We recently had a fantastic experience with Jim / OHI. They built us a beautiful new deck and installed a patio door, and the workmanship was excellent from start to finish. When we ran into unexpected building and zoning issues with the town, they were incredibly flexible and worked with us to adjust the project. Instead of the larger deck we originally planned, they created a stunning patio in that space, which turned out even better than we imagined. The crew was professional, reliable, and detail-oriented, and the results have transformed our backyard. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend OHI to anyone considering a deck or patio project."

"Spend less time waiting for a contractor to call you. Call J&P Restoration! They were real pro's at renovating my kitchen, creating a powder room and washer & dryer area. Work is of the highest quality taking all my needs into consideration."

"Over the many years we owned our house, we have used quite a few contractors for home improvement. None of them have compared to Mike Goodman. We have found Mike and his crew to be very professional knowledgeable and easy to work with. His skill set is vast and his ability to interpret our wish has been amazing. Mike has done two decks (house and above ground pool), bathtubs grab-bars already and will soon be adding a new stair rail for us. We would not hesitate to recommend Mike to anyone."

"I recommend Sky City for a deck build or replacement. The owner Vasyl was very easy to work with and made suggestions to improve the project. The crew arrived when expected and completed the job in about 2 weeks. The quality was excellent."

"Owner, Noah Garvey and team was on the job every day replacing old deck and with multiple repair & paint projects around on the house - even through a stint of 90 degree weather. Excellent work. I found Noah professional, knowledgeable and importantly, honest, fair and accommodating to my needs. Definitely a good hire."
