"Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"

"Everything went well! I had gotten other quotes some were higher one was lower. Dave from Next Wave was by far the most knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He was on time for the appointment and when it came time to be installed they were true professionals! I felt comfortable with them through the whole process. " Installed 16 windows in June 2013.  Almost 4 years later (Jan., 2017) one of the windows cracked.  Called Albar and sent a text photo of the cracked window.  They said it was a pressure crack and ordered a replacement from the factory.  They called me when it was ready.  I picked it up. They showed me how to remove the damaged window and put in the new one.  It was very simple even for a woman in the 60s with no construction experience (although you can have it done for you for a service fee).  I popped out the old one and popped in the new one.  No Charge.  This company is there for you even long after the sale is completed."

"Everything went extremely well. The company rep (Denny) explained our options, patiently answered all of our questions and provided a detailed estimate which was almost $2,000 less than the next lowest quote. The crew arrived on time and was professional. The job took one and a half days to complete because they had to remove the existing roof and install the flat roof. At its conclusion, they removed all debris and left the site perfectly clean. They installed Owens Corning TruDefinition shingles on the pitched roof, removing and replacing aluminum siding and chimney flashing where required, and applied modified bitumen to the flat roof."

"I believe everything went great. Initial communications were a bit sketchy but all went well in the end. When is the last time you were quoted a price and after the job was done, the technician said the job went easier than expected and lowered the price...by a third? Plus, Ronnie (I guess he's one of the owners) happened to notice a problem when they were already packed up and ready to leave (it was a window that an "apprentice" (at least someone that had only been with the company a couple of months) had worked on, promptly unpacked everything and redid the window. If you don't absolutely need new windows, I would recommend letting this company at least give an estimate. All my windows are working great and the cost for doing all the windows in the condo was about $3,000 less than the cost of replacing only five windows, my original plan. Recommend them highly!"
