"Truly do not have enough awesome things to say about Sky and SNC Construction! We gave them a call after seeing other great reviews and being in desperate need of a handyman. Sky came over within a couple of days, gave us some rough quotes, and started working on our projects just a week later. We had him help with a bunch of random stuff around the house: installing a dog door in our storm door, installing two ceiling fans, cutting/replacing/painting wood trim, hooking up our dryer, and even fixing and setting up an old rusted bird feeder. We’ll absolutely hire Sky/SNC again (and so should you)!"

"I found water damage in the morning and after considerable investigation, determined that it was from a pinhole leak in a water pipe in the basement.  I had to turn off the main water valve to stop the leak, so I needed to repair this quickly.  I have used Burkhardt Plumbing before with success, so I called them again.  They were able to come that afternoon ( I called around noon) and Dean arrived within the promised time slot. 



He fixed the leak, and also advised me that it was probably due to insulation around the pipe which was held in place by small wires.  The insulation around the wire itself was decaying (probably installed 40 years ago) and could have caused an electrostatic charge (?) between the two metals which would corrode the copper pipe.  I appreciated this extra information, so that I can remove the rest of the insulation and prevent future leaks (the insulation was put on to prevent condensation and is no longer necessary).   I thought the cost of the repair was fair.

They went above and beyond by coordinating the installation of several appliances at one time even though the company we purchased from said we couldn't do that. Michelle, the office manager, was wonderfully helpful in the coordination of everything, and their installers, Oakly and Jordan, did an amazing job of installing all the appliances and took the time to explain the operation to us. "GREAT! He was very considerate. I called at about 4:57 PM (they close at 5:00) and asked for a guestimate of how much it would cost to replace our broken garbage disposal. He said it would be about $300. I asked when he could do it, hoping for a date before Thanksgiving. He said either Tuesday or Friday of next week. And then he offered to do it immediately. I accepted and the job was completed by 6:30 the same day. I know I was extremely fortunate that he was able to schedule it so fast and I don't expect this speedy scheduling in the future. But, I sure was happy he was able to pull it off tonight! Thank you very much Jim!

"Kyle was the first to respond shortly after I requested a quote from several service companies. I talked with him on the phone and explained the problem and he quoted me an approximate cost of $120. I made an appointment with him for the next day. He arrived on time, evaluated the problem and explained what needed to be done. He ran a special cutter through the drain line that fed into the main drain under the floor. We then checked the drainage of the kitchen sink, which then drained with a vortex. The blockage was cleared. The charge was exactly what he had quoted, $120. I was happy to have hired Kyle for the job, rather than one of the large companies, after having read their unfavorable reviews, about how they quoted a price and then upon evaluating the job, changed the price. In many instances, they didn't fix the problem and either required a return visit at additional cost or the home owner had to hire someone else, like Kyle to do the job right. I was also happy to hire Kyle, because he is a small business owner and I would rather support a single man operation such as his. I would highly recommend Kyle because of his professionalism and ability to solve the problem. In the future if I need other drain cleaning, I will hire Kyle and will refer others to him. I was very happy with his service and price."

"From the time I called Cady Handyman Services I was met with a welcome and the owner was quite pleasant as he took an account of the things I needed care with.  I was given an agreeable date and name of the Handyman who would provide the service.

Tom, the Handyman, called ahead of time to inform me when he and another man would arrive.  They arrived on time and quickly went to work after checking the list and informing us as to what the jobs would entail.  They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable plus they were extremely neat and very careful as they moved through our home.  They cleaned up after themselves.
Before leaving they, with us, rechecked each job to make sure the work was complete and acceptable.\

We feel we got fine service and  a reasonable price.
