We took a huge leap of faith when we decided to renovate our 1945 Cape Bungalow, including remodeling two existing full bathrooms, adding a new Master bedroom with a full bathroom, adding a family/sunroom, and updating the full exterior of the home (roofing, siding, decking, garage, and driveway). We found information for Ryan Norman Builders on-line, and it really seemed too good to be true. Everything was coming up aces and when Ryan first called me to discuss the project I had a pretty good sense he was going to be our choice. Ryan works hard to build trust and win your business. He made it clear through the bidding process, and then after award, that his commitment and attention to the project would be unwavering and he held true to his word during our 5 month renovation period. If the most important selection factors for your project are cost and quality, and working with an honest, approachable, and level-headed GC, then Ryan Norman is absolutely the right choice. We had very reasonable expectations with our project, and this mindset is important for any home renovation; there would be unexpected costs and maybe a few surprises, the day to day activities might slip behind or occur ahead of schedule, and some days things might happen exactly as planned while other times they might not. Things will get messy, construction is messy. If you are unable to accept these as truth, then maybe Ryan Norman Builders is not the right choice for you, actually, maybe home renovation is not right for you…. may be better to List it not Love it. Our overall project started on time and ended on time and throughout the process it was easy to collaborate with Ryan. With every challenge he had a satisfying solution. He was always transparent regarding cost and any budget risks. He works with a predominantly subcontracted model, and this does come with some aches and pains. I did find it especially useful to plan time in the morning between 7-8am to check-in and get aligned for the day. In spite of the subcontract model, Ryan personally sees through every detail right down to the final punch list item. He wanted to make sure that upon completion of the project we were 100% happy, and was willing and able to re-work a few aspects that didn’t quite meet his or our standard. We are thrilled with the outcome of our project, and grateful to Ryan and his team for making our home design a reality."

"The project went great; I'm very happy with the final product. It lines up exactly with what I was looking for at the start of the project and looks better than I could have planned because of some great design suggestions from Wagner Home Renovation along the way. We ended up creating two separate closets from the previous closet incorporating some previously unused space in the condo as well. Both closets are accessed through very nice double doors. The laundry closet and general/clothes closet both look great. Wagner Home Renovation used high quality repurposed wood from a previous project and black iron rods to give the general/clothes closet great character. All of the work was very well done, and blends into the existing paint and trim-work so well, you can't even tell any work has been done. As an example, they added a wooden keystone at the enlarged entranceway near the new closets that was a very nice touch and feels like it was always there. They were able to save me money throughout the project by offering to use repurposed wood from previous projects that was often better quality than what would normally be used. Wagner Home Renovation does high-quality work and has a genuine interest in how well the end result turns out. They have a great attention for detail, offer great design ideas and options, and are responsive, honest, budget-conscious, flexible, reliable and easy to work with. I highly recommend them."

"We hired Adam to convert our single-car garage into a bonus room (framing, drywall, electrical, flooring, moved a gas line, rerouted the hose spigot, and replaced the garage door with a slider). The quality is fantastic. I’d recommend him to anyone. What really stood out: Adam cared about the details. I had a rough vision, but when we hit decisions I hadn’t thought through, he’d flag it and, if I didn’t have a strong preference, steer me toward the right choice. He had a real vision for how it should look, not just doing the bare minimum or blindly following directions. The other thing was how clean he and any of his crew kept their workspace. This didn't actually matter since they were in a garage we weren't using, but every day it was immaculate, and all the material scraps were removed.
