"We were very impressed with the work that Mr. Joel Shaw (owner of Every Man Home Entertainment) did for us this week. Our project was extensive, requiring three long days of work by Mr. Shaw (and more limited assistance from his helper and a network engineer). Mr. Shaw installed three wall-mounted TVs, including doing all of the rewiring required to install two of them in new locations which were not previously wired for TV. He also added a sound bar to one of our TVs. He installed a new audio system, including 4 in-wall controllers and a hub inside, and three new outdoor speakers that he connected to our Sonos amp. He also set up an enterprise grade wifi system for us. Mr. Shaw was pleasant, personable, and professional. He went out of his way to save us money on the job. His initial estimate was in line with the final price, without any surprises. He persistently and diligently worked through problems that arose without becoming flustered or upset -- just continuing to figure out workarounds and solutions to make things work the best possible way for us. He consulted us every step of the way to make sure that we were happy with the final product. He answered all of our questions and gave us the information that we needed to make informed decisions about the project. We are anticipating that we will have more work for Mr. Shaw to do in the future and will not hesitate to use him again."

"Excellent service and work done in a very professional manner. Gary rewired the entire panel and replaced most of the breakers. He deciphered and made sense of the mass of wires that had accumulated over 50+ years. When he was finished, the wiring was so neat that it looked like a large printed circuit, so neat and orderly had he reconfigured it. The job was done in a timely manner and the cost seemed very fair. I would recommend Gary to anyone who requires reliable and professional electrical services."

"I was in need of upgrading my home alarm system, so that I could monitor remotely, and in researching my options I found LiveWatch.  The rep that returned my call was Taylor.  Excellent customer service skills.  Very knowledgeable and patient with me.  I wanted to explore my options before making a decision.  No problem there...Taylor gave me his direct line and I was able to call back to have all my questions answered, and when I was ready to complete my purchase everything went very smoothly.  I was previously with ADT, and after weighing the pro's and con's I chose to purchase new sensors vs trying to switch it over (especially since the equipment I had was somewhat dated).  I like the idea that their system is not only wireless but cellular based.  The system arrived next day vs 2nd day which was great.  Everything was labelled, took no time at all to install the sensors.  The keypad is easy to use; everything so far as been very user friendly.  The appointment to activate and test the system went very smoothly.  They email you and telephone you to make sure everything is ok.  The communication is great.  Everyone has been very pleasant to speak with. I did order an additional sensor after the initial set up and adding it as a new device was easy. Cost wise, it was a blessing to find LiveWatch.  ADT required a 3 year contract to upgrade and an increase of my monthly charges.  LiveWatch was able to meet my needs at an affordable monthly rate.  Thank you for the great service! <br />"

"This is an update to an update. I've had Simplisafe for about 4 1/2 years, and it wasn't working well for us. We had trouble getting the components to communicate. We had false alarms. The customer support was okay - I think they tried, but for whatever reason, the system just didn't work well in my home. Someone from Simplisafe offered to replace the system, and so far it seems to be working well. I'm curious to see if we have any problems with the motion sensors. I previously changed the sensitivity to "low" to make sure we didn't trigger false alarms, but for now, I'm leaving the new ones at the default setting. I greatly appreciate the customer service and them reaching out to me. After spending $500 on the components and countless hours fiddling with the system, I'm hopeful that it will work without much effort on my part now. Taking down the old system and setting up the new one took about 2 1/2 hours and was fairly easy."

"<p>When we bought our house, the front door deadbolt did not work.  But since the latch bolt functioned properly and we had a security system, we lived with the problem just fine.  We are now selling our home, and decided to get the door handle re-brassed.  When the handyman finished the install, the thumb latch was upside down and the latch bolt was a little sticky.  As time went on, it became worse, and today just after noon it became impossible to open the unlocked door from outside the house.  I called Village Lock and Key after finding their positive ratings on Angie's List and Better Business Bureau, and viewing their excellent web site.  They were not sure they could send someone until Monday, but said they would try.  Sure enough, around 3 pm a van pulled up.  A pleasant and professional technician began working on the lock.  He corrected the flipped thumb latch, which fixed the problem with the latch bolt.  He also widened the strike plate holes so the deadbolt now works!  In addition, he cleaned and oiled the lock.  The entire job took about half an hour.  I could not be happier with this company.  I highly recommend them.</p> <br />"
