"One day last week to discover a bunch of ants crawling on my kitchen floor and counter.  I killed all I saw and wiped the area with vinegar water.  This was the second or third time this summer that we've had ants in our kitchen, so I went to Angie's list and researched exterminators.  <br /> I bought a special from Enviro-Tech Pest Services through Angie's list, which promised they would call me by today.  I was desperate; however, so I called them on Friday morning in the hopes of getting scheduled as soon as their schedule allowed. I was pleasantly surprised when the customer service person said she could have someone to my house the next day between 3 and 5.  <br /> The tech arrived that Saturday shortly before 3:00 PM and looked around.  I showed him where I'd seen ants and he sprayed along the baseboards in the kitchen and baited the top of the back splash.  Since we didn't see any ants at the time of his arrival, he couldn't find where the ants were entering my kitchen so he jelled a few likely spots. He offered to do other parts of the house but we decided the kitchen was enough. <br />  If the ants returned, he advised me to call him and put down a little jelly to attract them so we could see their entry spot.  He promised their indoor work is covered by a warranty and any ants we see outside crawling on the house; so not the yard.  That's fine I wouldn't expect it to cover the yard.  <br /> He told me to keep my cat away for about an hour and we did. She was sniffing the corner and baseboards a few hours later and she seems fine.  I guess their pesticide is relatively safe.  I guess I'll know how effective it is if the ants return. <br /> I didn't have to pay any money other than the $150 I paid to Angie's list.  The tech took my printed coupon and left.  I think they are new to Angie's list because both the customer service rep and the tech seemed a little confused as to their process regarding the pre-paid Angie's list offer.  However, they didn't hassle me about it at all so that's a big plus in my book.  <br /> So, long story short:  I'm impressed with their responsiveness, availability, professionalism, and price.  <br />"

"The tech was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient.  He explained about what kind of bugs he found and what he did to treat them.  I loved their service... you pay a monthly charge and they come to treat once every 2-3 months but you can call them to get service if there is a problem (for free).  Once we started using them, we had literally no issues.   <br /> The only problem we had was when the tech was out for service, he scheduled us for our next visit.  He put it in his hand-held computer and said we were set.  On the day we were scheduled, he didn't show. I called and the operator said that they had no record of it.  The rescheduled it and all was well after that, but it was a bit inconvenient. <br />"
