"He was incredibly positive. He was very timely and always showed when he said he was coming. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself. He would show up, do what he was supposed to do and be out the door. He was really easy to schedule because we had so much construction going on. We needed him at various occasion at various times and he would ask us to call him and let him know a day in advance. He was one hundred percent able to accommodate us on every single occasion when we needed him. He was incredibly great. We were new to the area and we absolutely knew no contractor whatsoever. Jeff was the guy from MC Fadden, linked us up with our carpenter, painter and some other people that we used in the house. He was able to provide some additional work for us in the process which turned out to be really great as well. It's been pretty horrible just because of the nature of the mess but the experience really for the most part has been really good. We were very grateful to Angie's List. My husband reached him on the phone and he responded very timely. When he was here, we liked him so much and we asked him to recommend a carpenter for us and he did that. It's been a great team of people. Everyone that he has linked us up with has done a great job."

"I found Gene Lakin on Angie's List and he replied to my inquiry about a price quote on the same day. When he came to our home to do the estimate, it turned out that my father in law was Gene's football coach in elementary and middle school! Upon doing the assessment of the damage, we determined that we had a and quot;double ceilingand quot; in our bedroom -- meaning that the original construction had a plaster ceiling which had drywall hung over it. Gene expressed concern about repairing the drywall without having the area tested for mold since there was probably standing water in between the two ceilings. He advocated for mold remediation with our insurance company and they agreed. He truly went to bat for us! He attended the initial inspection with the mold company as well, removed a small piece of the drywalled ceiling and, in fact, there was mold. Gene visited two days after the mold issue was addressed and gave a final estimate. We scheduled him to begin working the next day. He and a helper did the bulk of the work on Wednesday and finished the job on Thursday and Friday. The ceiling is seamless, the drywall was done without a flaw, the other room he worked on is in great shape as well. I would highly recommend him. <br /> <br /> In addition, Gene goes above and beyond his craft. He offered to bring back lunch from a local eatery when he went to eat, always answered my calls and emails promptly, and was very friendly. He was a pleasure to work with, and we paid for his expertise with no reservations."

"From wall paper removal to glue removal to preparing a wall as if it were an artist canvas to display a painting, was a process. but Mr. Mcdonell did not rush and was attentive to a small areas that required special attention. Once he is done the area is spotless. Great job. Only downfall he arrived late but he did stay late to get the job done right."

I was expecting it to be a long job as it was in a difficult location but he completed it in no time at all. He was amazing to work with, very friendly, and super accommodating. "WONDERFUL. Monty promptly answered my text. He was on time, looked over the nightmare project. It was a glossy paper. He explained the best way to fix it. Gave me an estimate and a date if available. I didn't have enough wall paper for the entire room, so he helped me design the best way to set off the wall adding an accent wall. Turned out great. He was on time cleaned up, and made the room look comfortable. I highly recommend him and I would HIRE HIM AGAIN & AGAIN.!!!"

"Two weeks prior I had waterproofing done on my basement.  The contractors had to remove about 2 feet of drywall up from the floor level in order to dig up the concrete to install the waterproofing gear.  This left a really ragged mess of the drywall.  Marshall Dry Wall came in and had to cut away and straighten the area before applying new drywall.  He did all of this and did a beautiful job.  He did most of the work in an afternoon then came back the next morning and sanded the wall, down,and  cleaned up his mess so I could paint the walls. He also saw bad spots where Laundry water had messed up the wall. He removed all of that and replaced it with new sections of drywall making my walls look like new. <br />  He does quality work and I would call no one else to do my drywall work.  He is exceptional. <br />"

"Have you ever been happy to write out a check for things done around the house? First time for everything they say! Scott and his crew were great! Professional yet down to earth, the kind of person that treats you like a friend. His work is meticulous, there isn't a drop of stain on the ground or in the shrubs. He even cleaned off my grill cover while they power washed! He and his crew did an excellent job on our deck, made it look like new again. There was no rush to get it done either, the time was taken to do it correctly. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have their deck done. He also does painting! I am sitting here trying to figure out if we need anything painted because I know that any job he would do, would have the same level of expertise that he showcased in refurbishing our deck.
