We were not so blessed with the dreaded tree roots in the pipes and water puddling up in the basement. A call to Shelby Mechanical plumbing with the hopes it wouldn’t be to big a job, oh famous last words! Technician Kyle John’s was the first dispatched and after hours and multiple snakes sent on a mulching mission he had gotten us better but not out of the woods. It was ultimately decided a hydro jet treatment was needed or next step would be digging and replacing pipes. Calling in Technician Paul Tabb with the hydro jet and a whole lot of hard work, determination, and dedication to providing a top notice service we are back in business! They provided a reasonable estimate and were back out within two days to complete the work. "We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"
