I would only suggest that before work is done that the full contract be discussed and all points be clarified. I had some miscommunication that was partially my fault that I had missed. "The project went really, really well.  The wall looks fantastic, and Richard was able to take a difficult/nonstandard project and make things easy for me.  The project required (a) working with our building association, (b) finding materials that would match the existing look of our building, and (c) coming up with a strong/durable solution that would work for an apartment terrace under difficult constraints (limited places to fasten the wall to the building).  Richard handled all of that -- at a very fair price (I got multiple estimates) & with little effort required on my end (I wasn't even in the city when the work was planned & completed).  The wall looked really good. <br /> Separately, Richard has done great work for me in installing an external kitchen exhaust through our roof (we are on the top floor of an apartment building), in addition to other work.  He's always been quick to respond to calls/emails.  I've really appreciated his help over the years. <br />"
