Zelaya construction repaired the concrete damaged by the water, repaired the wallboard in two rooms that had to be cut away, replaced 4 doors that were damaged, replaced trim in 3 rooms, painted the rooms and selected replacement carpet that matched the previous carpet exactly. Their work was meticulous and they made good suggestions for completing. They finished in the time frame estimated. All the workers were diligent and respectful. "I have a townhouse rental that is between tenants and needed a fair amount of sprucing up.  I called Abel and asked for a quote for exterior painting and framing and hanging an exterior back door.  He sent me a quote within a day or so.  It was not the lowest bid, but it certainly was a very fair one and my experience is the lowest bid is often the one to avoid.  Also, based on my conversation with Abel, and his reviews, I had more confidence in him.  
We agreed to meet at the townhouse at 8:30am and when I arrived he and his crew were already there.  We spoke for a few minutes about the job and then they got right to work.  Abel and  I had already agreed that some of the wood had been sufficiently damaged that it should be replaced with pvc material.  However, the previous evening I had discovered another piece around a basement window that was even worse and asked if he could replace that as well, which he did despite the short notice.  When the painting was done he showed me the paint he used and left me the remainder of one can, including the label on paint type, so that I could do any touch ups if needed or buy more.  He only asked an additional $50 for replacing the additional window framing. 
The door was a little more problematic.  It was the same width as the existing frame, but slightly higher so his carpenter had to adjust the header and was able to do so while still making the molding around the door frame sufficiently long.  He also installed the locks from the old door.  I have done some of my own carpentry work in the past so I am somewhat familiar with this type of work and I was very happy with Abel's carpenter. 
All in all, I was very pleased and would definitely used Green Painting and Carpentry again.

"I had contacted Mark for a roof proposal, and he responded right away. I had gotten at least 7 different roof proposals over a 3-4 month timeframe. Many companies I contacted wanted to take up 2 hours of time to go over everything (really, they just wanted to justify why they are charging a premium, and with 3 small kids, I just don't have time for that). Mark's approach was very different. He didn't ask for 2 hours of time to go through the big sales pitch. He responded with what I asked for, didn't take up a lot of time, and his pricing was very competitive (significantly less than many of the proposals I received). Once I signed the contract, he was able to schedule a crew for the next day. They arrived first thing in the morning, and the job was done by 5PM. They did an outstanding job, and you would never know they were there with the exception that the house looked 100 times better with the new roof. They replaced several 4x8 sheets that had rotted, but didn't charge (some roofing companies will nickle and dime on such things), so again, that was appreciated. I would certainly use Mark again, and have referred him to several neighbors (one of my neighbors also got a new roof from Mark's company, and he's very satisfied as well)."
