"I was shown which fabric books would have more traditional fabrics in line with the chair style and vintage. I found several possibilities, but I found one in particular which seemed suitable. The fabric was ordered in sufficient quantity to place the center of the design in the center of each of the back, the seat, and behind the back. The end result is just as I'd wished. The fabric is lovely on the chair. One front wooden caster (as fits the Eastlake parlor chair style) was fitted back into the leg which had a split at the attachment, and the leg was made sturdy. Some touch up on the wood was done. The innards of the chair were made more sturdy. This breathed new life into this chair but with a look in keeping with the vintage style. Nice job all around. <br />"

I was able to drop the chairs off, ship the fabric I wanted to his shop, and he knocked it out of the park! We are so happy with the transformation. Customer service was fantastic. "Their price was a little high. The price wasn't outrageous; they just quoted for the actual work, but not for the material that needed to be added in. The cost was far from what I wanted to do. They quoted $740 for upholstering plus the 17-yard of materials. It was a little more than I could spend, instead I could have bought a new sofa. They were very professional. I left the message and they called back within 20 minutes. I felt that they were a little too professional. They gave the quote, that's it and they hung up the phone. They said that they would come out to the house, but I had to go to the store to pick up the material before they come to my house. To drive all the way from my place to theirs, I would rather choose somebody closer."

She measured more than once and provided consultation on fabric and style that was very helpful. When I changed my mind about color or style she responded graciously. I felt that we established a good working relationship. There were some minor problems as there always are but the attitude with which they were addressed was very reassuring. We are happy with the finished product and would not hesitate to use the company again. We did receive several bids but felt that because Seema provided an electrician familiar with the product it saved us from having to coordinate with an outside service provider as many of the other shade companies require. We felt that the pricing was fair for the service involved."
