Customers say: Quick response

"I contracted with Sonntag Construction for a redo of my 10' x 50' dock. The project included reinforcement of the basic structure, new decking with composit material, as well as redesign to satisfy code requirements. It was a true pleasure dealing with Michael throughout the entire process. Michael is a real professional - he is a knowlegable and precise carpenter, efficient and neat in his work habits, and very importantly, shows up when he says he will. His pricing is more than competitive with other local contractors and his finished product is beautiful and exactly what wanted. I plan to utilize Michaels skills for future projects and I would encourge anyone seeking a quality contractor to reach out to Sonntag Construction first."

"Renewal Solutions helped us after we had a tree fall on our house and cause extensive damage throughout our home. We did research on contractors in the area and they were recommended by our neighbors. Renewal Solutions were very responsive and never pushy during the estimate phase. Once we selected them they did major repairs on our house in 6 weeks where others said it would take at least 8-10. Their workers were there every single day, showing up in the morning and working through the afternoon six days a week. If he had any questions, Joe and Tommy were available and ready to answer them promptly. I heard horror stories about contractors before so I feel very lucky we ultimately ended up using Renewal Solutions who made this terrible ordeal easy and got us our home back in record time and looking better than ever."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Hazlet, NJ

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
