"They did a fine job with the work.  The pump install wasn't ideal (the pipe was exposed above the water level when it should've been below, etc), but the pond was cleaned as expected.  The trouble, as my "grade" indicates, was with the company's responsiveness.  We were on a tight time schedule (putting the house on the market) and I was grateful that Jake had time in his schedule to come out and give us an estimate and was going to be able to get the work done quickly.  Unfortunately, he missed the estimate appointment.  He had it written down on the wrong day.  That was frustrating when I was waiting in an empty house on a morning I took off work, but it happens & it's forgivable.  Jake was courteous and professional when he did arrive.  He said the estimate would be emailed that evening, but when it didn't arrive for a few days I emailed him and he then got me the estimate.  Again, forgivable, but added to the missed appointment, I almost didn't use them.  I needed the work done quickly and without a hassle.  At the estimate he'd said they could get the work done before the weekend, but then weren't able to schedule it until a few days later (because, I think, he hadn't accounted for giving the pump time to arrive).  Eventually, he did send his team (two guys who did the work while I wasn't there) & they did a fine job. <br /> I've found that "pond guys" tend to have a very relaxed attitude toward the business side of their businesses.  Jake did not prove me wrong.  In the end, they did a fine job with a task that I didn't want to do myself.   <strong>I'm happy with the work.</strong>  But if we weren't selling the house, I might keep searching for the perfect pond person -- or I might just make sure I wasn't in a rush to get things done. <br />"

There were 1-2 contractors working on it every day, depending on their assignments. I provided the major materials including bathtub, vanity, mirror, tiles and their purchased the rest. "This was a great experience.  From the start Micah separated himself from the other companies that we spoke to about our project.  First, we wanted a company that could do everything for us.  We found lots of patio guys, and lots of landscapers, but not many that did both on top of drainage work. <br /> I scheduled an appointment for a quote.  Micah was the third quote that I had received.  Micah took his time in working up an exact quote for me.  He answered a lot of questions for me.  I appreciated him giving me options, but also his recommendation.  Micah was the most expensive of the three quotes.  However, I hired him as I felt that he understood my needs better than the other companies, and was going to deliver a professional outcome.  Frankly, I trusted Micah. <br /> I ended up delaying the start of the project for personal reasons.  Micah was very understanding and worked with us on changing the start date.  This project was very intimidating to my wife and I .  And not to mention it was a lot of money.  Micah walked us through every step. <br /> When the project started his team arrived as scheduled and began to work.  All of the team was professional and very polite.  They answered all of our questions.  It was very hot when they were working.  I was so impressed with their work ethic.  Their attention to detail was amazing.   <br /> At one point their Bobcat damaged our vinyl siding.  They informed us of the damage and replaced the vinyl siding the next day. <br /> Like any large outdoor project, weather became a factor.  Micah kept us well informed when the weather forced a call off for the day.  The project did take longer than estimated.  However, this is no one's fault.  These large projects run into changes.  I credit Micah for keeping us informed daily.  <br /> And the estimate stuck.  I give Micah a ton of credit for that. <br /> Whatever technique they used to re-seed the grass worked beautifully.  Now, we have a beautiful patio and yard.  The drainage issues that we were having are now non-existent. <br /> Thank you to Dean Landscaping!  We look forward to using you again for the front yard project. <br />"

"It went well. Dave was very professional to deal with during the construction of our deck and keeping us informed of changes. The carpenters, Cyle and Dakota were fantastic. They built the deck from the footers to completion of railings, decking, privacy panels and steps. They too were very professional, always ready to answer our questions and listen to our input. They showed up early, worked quietly and cleaned up their equipment after every workday. The project was scheduled to take about 3 weeks but because of manufacturing delays in material shipments took about 9 weeks."
