We also needed to have new windows and floors installed, custom bookshelves built, and of course new paint. Having someone you can trust to do projects in your home is so important because they become a part of your lives for at least a month or so! Fred took care of everything: the supples, installation, paint, and making sure that the brick installers completed the job successfully as well. I now have an office that used to be an “all weather” porch that I can actually be in all day, another office/second bedroom that has more wall space thanks to the seamless work Fred did in closing up a large window and door (not to mention it was with plaster!) He was really precise in doing “delicate demo” since we were trying to save as much of the old house charm as possible. We were even able to use one of the doors in my new office, and it looks beautiful. Cost wise, everything was up front and there were no surprises (even though he was very gracious about us adding items along the way (like extra plugs and installing a storm door). We also had our attic re-insulated and part of our floor lifted which Fred took care of as well. He communicated with us every step along the way, which is also so important. We hope to have a custom closet installed in the near future and will definitely call Fred to do that project as well! 10/10 recommend Fred Oakley for your home renovations!"
