We decided to undertake a major (to us) update/renovation of our entire first floor flooring, including removing a dated looking "elevated" living room area. We were excited to review and discuss the project with Doug as he took the time to hear our vision, take pictures and measurements. We felt the estimate was very fair and immediately hired them for the job. The entire process went very smooth and thorough. DBC has a broad selection of talent and we felt that each friendly face that showed up truly contributed to the project. This was a major project that involved adding a 1500 sq ft addition as well demolishing and rebuilding a second floor room. Nathan was the general contractor and managed all the other quality subcontractors - HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Roofing and Siding. HIs crew did the framing and finish work. The job was done on time and within budget. Nathan worked with on all scope changes and are extremely pleased with the final product. "It went very well.  The guys were very professional and careful with our walls in main area of house when bringing jack hammered material out of basement.  There is a lot of residual dust in basement which need to get cleaned.  The only complaint I have is that the furnace was not wrapped during the drilling and the junk that had been air made it into our furnance electrostatic filters. <br /> I would encourage folks to use them, but to put plastic up around main house doorways so the dust is minimal in rest of house. Also anything left in basement REALLY needs to be taped up well.  Lots of fine particle dust. <br />"

"This company is a go to company. I had some large cracks in my foundation due to some prior water damage. I had another company come in for an estimate and they wanted 3 times more money and much more invasive plan. The Basement Guys told me that it was not necessary to do all that and also provides a lifetime warranty. They were very efficient, thorough and very professional. They also cleaned up and were great to work with. They work for the company and do not subcontract. A+ company!"
