"My husband and I needed to have our bathroom and kitchen remodeled. We solicited quotes from 3 contractors and selected Dougherty to do the work. Since my husband and I are both retired we had plenty of interaction with the Dougherty staff and their subcontractors. We were very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. I love my new kitchen and bathroom! Yes, there were minor problems, but we have an old house and went into the project knowing they might uncover some things. Their staff collaborated with us when any issues arose so that we could reach a workable solution. The final cost was within 10% of the original bid, mostly due to cabinet upgrades. We have since contracted separately with three of the Dougherty subs, one for routine HVAC maintenance and the others for a large room that needed drywall repair and painting.
