Even though I was paying using insurance funds, I did not go with a low-bid. I wanted to feel comfortable with the contractor. Dave was friendly and professional, very responsive with his bid, and there were no surprises with the costs at the end.  <br /> I appreciate that Lupfer was willing to do a "smaller" job compared to the many 6-figure jobs that must be out there these days. Most of the other companies said the job was too small or that there was not enough "profit" for them in the job, but from day one Dan was receptive to our needs, understood that we had a fairly tight budget and was very communicative.
