We focus in new carpet and pad sales and installation, we do not offer carpet repair or restretching service. Because we are the distributor and the installer, we are able to provide high quality flooring at the best prices.
"I am so pleased with the help that we received from American Carpet Distributors! We had a burst pipe in our basement that got our carpet and padding wet. We had to throw out the padding but managed to save the carpet. Larry responded so quickly and was so easy to work with. He stopped by the house the same day I called him and took measurements to replace the carpet padding. A couple days later he sent out a very friendly and hardworking crew to replace the padding and lay our old carpet on top. It looks and feels brand new. I am so pleased that he was so promp to help. I feel like he was so fair in his pricing and that he wasn't pushy to sell me things I didn't need. The other carpet companies I called would only do the job if I bought new carpet (which I didn't need) or had a high minimum job payment. Larry saw that we really needed our basement back to working order and quickly helped us get that back. I am very satisfied and grateful!"

"Home Repair Fraud. Theft by deception. We got a new floor and the installer said his brother was the field estimator and was authorized to remove the "Kitchen Cabinets"? We never wanted cabinets from a flooring company, But they targeted the owner because she is 91 years old and took them. Months later we got them back from the ex-con and hoodlum they sent to rob the owner totally destroyed and had to pay another $1300 to get them back. We feared for our safety because they wanted to know if the house was for sale and what types of cars we were driving. They prey upon the elderly. Do not use this company unless you have a criminal attorney on retainer. Stay away from DeSitter at all costs."

"After purchasing our home, my wife and I decided to have maple wood floors installed in the bedrooms to match the rest of the house. We received three bids in an effort to keep everyone honest. Ismael was referred to us by our neighbor. From the beginning of the process, he was my favorite. He has a great personality but more importantly, he was the most knowledgeable and based on his assessment, I was confident he would produce the best work product. He actually predicted how the bidding process would play out. "I come out and give the estimate and I install the floors. They have a guy who will come out and estimate and someone else to install the floors. There will be miscommunication and problems with that. With me, no problems." Ismael could not have been more accurate. It was really frustrating and time consuming dealing with the other vendors just to obtain their bids! We paid a little more to work with Ismael but it was money well spent. My rationale was the benefit of paying a skilled craftsman to do the work correctly outweighed my time having to correct potential mishaps. We had such a great experience. Ismael and his crew were punctual, on budget and finished exactly when they said they would. They also revealed amazing attention to details--they identified and corrected a creek in a section of the floor and a stain that could not be sanded so they replaced that section of the floor.
