"I got estimates from three companies, all with good reviews on Angie?s List, to replace the upstairs carpet and stair carpet with laminate. All three came out to the house to inspect the job site, take measurements and provide quotes. The quotes ranged from $9k to $7k for the same laminate with Mr. Halfon having the lowest price. Price was not my only criteria but, since Mr. Halfon had good reviews, an experienced crew and was available to start work as soon as the product arrived, he seemed to be the best choice. I think the main reason I selected him was that he was ?hands on?. The other folks I was dealing with were
salesman/estimators and the companies were larger. I?ve had issues in the past with salesmen/estimators/designers not communicating effectively with the folks who actually do the work. Mr. Halfon?s crew contacted him whenever there was an issue and he came out to the house while work was in progress. He responded promptly to my inquiries and quickly addressed my concerns.
Overall, the job was very well done. After removing the old carpet, they took the time to carefully clean and prep the subfloor. The upstairs laminate was installed with only one transition at the bathroom door (with bathroom tile) and it looks great. The only issue was the stairs and that was due to the fact that I selected a laminate that did not have full treads but I insisted on using full treads because I was concerned that raised stair noses would be a tripping hazard. Mr. Halfon did his best to find full stair noses in a laminate that most closely matched the selected style and his installer did his best to transition between the two laminates as smoothly as possible. If I were doing it over, I would probably select a laminate that came with full treads and everyone?s job would be easier.
The crew started the job on a Friday, worked Saturday and Monday (holiday) and finished up Tuesday. They were polite and
efficient and, when the job was done, they carefully put all the furniture back and thoroughly cleaned up.

"The process went well. We had all wet areas (kitchen, both bathrooms, fireplace, foyer and laundry). Tile was cleaned, regrouted and sealed and granite counter tops done. Everything looks clean and crisp! Steve and Xavier were very informative and thorough!"

"Integrity, professionalism and quality. Solid Stone Manufacturing was a God-send after Harvey. While many were at the mercy of their contractor, SSM provided fair pricing, quality materials and an excellent performance. With such an overwhelming project, our Solid Stone representative walked us through each step of the tear out and rebuild process, answering thousands of questions and even taking us shopping for materials and supplies. SSM served as our general contractor, having all trades readily available, making biweekly, sometimes daily onsite visits. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. In addition, they were very helpful and proactive with documentation for the release of flood insurance funds from the mortgage company. Solid Stone Manufacturing will be our first choice for future needs."

"Great! We were getting it cleaned because we are trying to sell our house. They showed up and cleaned quickly and effectively. There were 2 stains that I wish the cleaner could have gotten up, but I think they were just too heavy of stains for a steam cleaner. Great job overall and easy to work with!"

"All Pro did an amazing job on my carpet and my tile looks like new after they cleaned the grout. They were efficient and professional and very pleasant. I will definitely hire All Pro again. I am going to ask them to come back to do the grout in my laundry room and bathrooms. I highly recommend their services.

"I use Better Than Ever Carpet Care every time my clients ask for a recommendation and Juve never disappoints. The repair on the Master suite came out terrific. The tile and and grout looks amazing and the stains on the carpet have all been removed. The home is now ready to list and put on the market. Great experience."

"We purchased a new home in May of 2017 and needed to replace the carpet in the entire house (approx. 4500 sq. ft.). Our realtor and friend suggested using Carpet Connection as she had had a good experience with them. We went to the store and spoke to Steve Wisenbaker and he was extremely helpful. He assisted us in choosing a carpet that fit our needs and budget; and he came out to our home to measure and give advice, including working out the best way to lay the carpet to ensure minimum waste. He knew our home would be a difficult installation due to the layout (two staircases, one curved and one with three turns; an upstairs with numerous step ups and many angles, etc.), so he scheduled his best installers for our project. The installers were professional and did an excellent job (it took two full days due to the difficulty). Steve followed up both during and after the install to ensure all went well. We were very pleased with the outcome. Only three months later, our house flooded during Hurricane Harvey and we sustained almost 4' of water in our new home. During the restoration process, we contacted Steve and told him that we would ultimately need to re-carpet the entire downstairs. He checked that the carpet we had originally purchased was still available and ordered it immediately to ensure we would have it when necessary. He not only gave it to us at the same price as the first installation, he also offered to hold it for us in his warehouse until our restoration was at the point that we were ready to install the carpet. The second installation again went without a hitch and the installers did a great job and worked very hard to get the project completed in an efficient and timely manner. I recommend Carpet Connection with no reservation and would not hesitate to use them again in the future."

"They came right on time and went right to work. They were polite and professional. Their cleaning was good to very good. They missed a few places here and there that rather surprised me as they were pretty obvious places to clean, eg. the TV and shelves around it, top of bookcase that is right at eye level, side of end table that had some big cobwebs on it. Other places they did a great job, eg., cleaning a vase of silk flowers so that they looked brand new and the bathroom counters fairly gleamed. Overall I was pleased and would use them again.
