"It was okay. There were some issues but I don't know what is normal in the installation of sprinkler systems. They were very professional and very timely. It was done in a timely manner. They installed it during all that heat, it was like a 110 in the shade. They came in and did the work in spite of the heat. Their professionalism was fine. It's kind of hard to tell on the quality of work because I haven't turned it on this year."

"I contacted Rex Starkey with Elite Lawn and Landscaping about giving me a bid and describing his plan for installing a lawn sprinkler system.  He was prompt, personable, and detailed in what he proposed.  He told me how they would put it in, how many zones and approximately how many heads would be involved, and how long it would take.  He would use a Hunter Sprinkler system and parts (which I understand is of good quality).  His bid also included the yearly maintenance required ($140) and a wireless rain sensor.  It was reasonable (from what we heard of others), so we accepted.  I dreaded having our yard torn up and looking a mess, but knew in the long run, it would be worth it.  It took them (three guys) 2 days to completely install the system!  Although they had machines for some of it, I watched them expend lots of energy in manual labor.  I was impressed and relieved that Rex was one of the three people doing the work.  I thought the control box and cords (which were NOT exposed, but covered) in the garage looked very neat and professional.  And to my surprise, when they were finished, it was hardly noticeable that we'd even had a system put in!  I also appreciated that they put down grass seed to help spur growth in any bare areas.  We had friends in the following weekend, and they were shocked that we'd had a system put in a week ago. Rex made sure I knew how to operate the controls for the system, and he preprogrammed the time for each station ( there were 6!). Now before I tell you this next part, you have to know that we have very low water pressure (always have).  About four or five days later, he told me he wasn't happy with the way the system performed with the water pressure, and that if he split up two of the stations, he felt we would have better pressure.  I did not complain nor ask for this, but I appreciate the fact that even though he was paid, he was willing to try to make a good system work better for us.  I appreciated his conscientiousness.  They came back out and added two more stations. We can tell a big difference in the water pressure, but would have never known it could improve had he not brought it to our attention.  The best part is that we did not have to pay additionally for the two extra stations.  He said he wanted to honor his quote! <br /> This is a company of integrity that I would highly recommend!  Now just waiting for those hot dry months! <br />"

"Our back yard is on  a small hill...which made the construction of the project extra hard.  Jeff's crew  worked so hard.  To get the materials to the pond, they had to lay ply wood , screw it together securely, and then use a dolly to walk the rocks down to the patio area.  It would take 3 men; one guiding the dolly, and two holding onto a large rope and letting the rope out slowly. <br /> Jeff's crew began by tearing down the old pond.  Joe, Armondo, and Mike used the rocks to build  steps and patios winding down to the creek below the house.  All the rocks were cemented  to provide stability.  The rock work is beautiful!     Then they began digging the pond.  The dirt that they dug out was used to build flat areas for walking.  These ares were later covered with plants, ground cover, and  large accent rocks to match the pond..  <br /> Then, Jeff  designed the waterfall feature.  Art,  Joe, Mike, and Armondo laid the rock walls, the floor of the pond and cemented in the surrounding rock work. <br />   <br /> The entire project was amazing!   The water feature began to take life.  There are gurgling areas and longer falls with splashing sounds.  Jeff was so particular with the placement of each rock to maximize the beauty of the falls and the sound.   Lights were strategically placed to bring about a shimmering effect.  Plants were placed in the small areas around the pond  to bring color and interest.  We have enjoyed the water fall so much.  The beauty of it and the sound of the falls is amazing. <br /> I would like to add that the men were so courteous and worked so hard.  Joe was amazing at his ability to answer all of our questions about the plants.  He and Almondo were always the first ones to pick up a shovel or wheelbarrow.   Art was so knowledgeable about how to work with our watering system that we already had to make sure that all the plants would survive. When Jeff couldn't be on the site, Art and Joe took the responsibility in supervising the building of the pond.   Mike was friendly and easy to talk to .  He and Almondo and Joe created such perfect pathways and several small patios with rock seats.  Every part of the project was professionally and artistically done. <br />   I am so pleased that Willow Green Gardens tackled our project.  I have complete faith in them as landscapers and designers.  <br />"

"Springfield Gardens Lawn & Landscape does it again.  What can I say about these guys....they are fantastic.  Curt and his team have mowed and trimmed my yard.  Always do a fantastic job and the lawn looks fabulous.   <br /> This last summer they did some sod work for me in the front and back and it turned out fantastic.  Can't even tell I had an issue on my lawn.  They also did trimming and landscaping work in my flower beds and on my trees.  Turned out great.   <br /> They are always professional, on time, always clean things up, always treat my stuff as if it were their own.   <br /> I have referred another lawn care person to Curt's team to do sod, that's how much I trust and value their work.   <br /> They also put up your Christmas lights for you during the holidays, and store them during the rest of the year.  Very inexpensive.     <br /> This is my second review of these guys and like I said I have known Curt for 26 years now and he and his team always do a great job.  I will continue using Curt for all my landscaping and lawn care needs.   <br /> If you want this type of work done, use these guys and don't use anybody else. <br />"
