"I was very impressed overall with Knable Carpets.  They came out on a Sunday morning for an estimate, and were right on time (actually a couple minutes early!).  Mr. Knable was very professional and friendly. his pricing was very reasonable and he estimated that the carpeting would be installed within a week to ten days, which was fine. He called us three days later and said they could come out the next day.  the installation took a day and a half and they did a very professional job. the installers moved all the furniture, cleaned up nicely and took the old carpet to the dumpster.  I would recommend this company to anyone. "The carpet was ordered by the store and was received within 4 days.  The installers came the next day.  We discussed some details on how the carpet would be installed on the stairs at the critical points, such as the threshold at the top of the stairs, how the carpet would tuck in at the edge of each stair and wrap around the bottom stair, as the last stair opened into the room. Price-wise, they were in the middle of the three flooring stores we visited, but I was happy to pay a little extra for such excellent service. It truly was outstanding and one of the best experiences you can have with construction in your house. Their installers are longtime employees, not contractors, which is very important and makes a huge difference. They showed up exactly when promised, they moved all our furniture in and out of the rooms they were working on, they did a beautiful job, and they completed the work exactly in the time they promised to have it done. The owner himself came out first with samples so we could match the flooring in the hallway exactly, and he did the measuring as well. As soon as they got the wood from the factory they delivered it right away, and after it had a few days to acclimate in the house we got right on the schedule and they started the work.
