"Mr. Jim Gorman who is the owner of the business called me back within a half hour of my email posting. He visited my home 3 days later, inspected things, and told me what the approximate cost would be. He and his helper then installed an entire lightning protection system on both my house and a back garage/storage area. He did things exactly as I wanted in every way. Also threw in a free weathervane which increased the beauty of my home. I would have no objection to recommending this gentleman and his company to anyone who is in need of a competently installed lightning protection system for their home/property. MID-AMERICA LIGHTNING RODS is one fine company run by a man who cares about doing good work according to the latest safety codes etc. Having lost my previous retirement home to lightning, it was very important to me to get this job done and quickly because the thunderstorm season is upon us and with the climate change, those storms are very wicked, especially here out in the country where i live!"

I already had everything for the install the swap the old one out put the new one in really fast I was surprised I told him my lights would flicker sometimes and he check the ground to the meter and it was corroded, he cleaned it off and fix the problem install looks great. "Set an appointment for the following week. Scott will need to order new lights and dimmers for the project and we set an appointment for January 8, 2022. Electricians called and said they were running one hour late with one of their jobs. Had problems locating the transformer boxes as two were hidden behind the cabinets and they couldn't gain access to them. They were able to replace the strip lighting above the sink area and said if I could find a replacement puck light for one location, they would be able to come back and install it, but indicated it would be more economical for us to have another job for them to do. We did have another project that was discussed. I would have preferred that the electricians try to find the replacement puck light rather than me having to do all the footwork."

He also had to further diagnose a wire that had been melted and address that as well. He showed great problem solving skills, cleaned up and was extremely professional and friendly. Even though the job took much longer than expected, he still only charged what he had initially stated. Would hire again."
