She was able to take the vision of our dream kitchen and make it our reality. The original kitchen/laundry area/bathroom space was fairly small, however she utilized every square inch of space to get us all the things we wanted and our kitchen feels so large and spacious. We definitely had some challenges with a 112 year old house and I appreciated her honesty and candor in preparing us for those unknowns. "Terry Dote is a thorough, very talented designer. He worked with us in collaborative stages, staying patient & persevering while designing, constructing, & installing for 3 separate spaces in our home. One was a challenging, triangular opening along a staircase for which he created a combination of shelving, storage, & privacy for the  adjacent bedroom. The second is a floor to ceiling wall of open shelves, giving delineation between the Master Bedroom & the Art Studio while preserving sunlight & Mt. Hood views. The 3rd is a complex, whole wall unit for the Home Office consisting of open & closed storage above & below a wall-length table/desk-top. The solutions were in response to my husband's specific ways of filing & organizing with room for decorative display. All 3 projects are sleek & smart, harmonized with the modern lines of our home. Terry graciously worked with us after the initial plans faced a budget cut. He modified to lower costs without sacrificing the beauty or practicality of any of the 3 projects."
