"I gave this man $3000 which was 33% of the job upfront. Was supposed to give him 33% at the halfway part And 34% upon completion. But when I went to my bathroom and realized you left drugs in my bathroom and I have small children. Not like that 3000 black and small cleaners caught easy and heâ s lucky he hasnâ t been charged with nothing. Only reason that happened is because I wouldnâ t pursue charges. He obviously is a drug addict and has a problem so maybe he should get help Possibly isnâ t the option maybe rehab is. If you paid for supplies, you got ripped off wait 10 years and it will all fall apart charges for certain stuff but buys different stuff so he can use the extra money to pick himself up drugs without nobody noticing, I am so terribly in grief over this. $3000 he ran off with how is Matt doing in business and not in a jail cell"

There was minimal project management, workmanship was terrible (damaged new items, blamed ?site conditions? when they couldn?t do basic work they?d promised, had to re-do many items because quality was so poor). They missed every deadline and overshot the timeline by months. We were often forced to procure items ourselves because Chapter weren?t engaged or competent enough to do so (they even failed to purchase a one-of-a-kind marble slab we designed our bathroom around. It was sold to someone else and we were forced to redesign last minute). They gaslighted us whenever we raised concerns and pressured us to make payments when work was defective / incomplete. He showed me pictures of the plants and gave me a very fair written estimate of the cost. He asked for a reasonable deposit and we scheduled a date for the work to be done. He started when he said he would and finished on the same day. His crew is wonderful, polite and very hardworking. They worked from the time they arrived in the morning until early evening adding the unexpected bonus of mowing the back and front yard. Don checked to see that everything was done correctly and to see if I was satisfied. The front looks wonderful and I am more than just satisfied. I would recommend D&S to anyone looking for someone to do landscaping. You won’t be sorry it you do!"
