"Mr. Mayne came out to our house and gave us an estimate on the work to be performed.  He was punctual and very polite.  We felt the price was reasonable so we decided to use his services.  He was very busy and he said he would be able to complete the work in about a month (the middle of October).  When we didn't hear from him I called and he apologized and said that he had gotten behind, but that he would come out the following week.  He followed up by phone and came out when he said to jack hammer the old sidewalk and put in forms for the new concrete.  He had to wait on the concrete, so two days later he had the new sidewalk poured.  We are happy with the quality of the job and would use him again if we had need of concrete work or repairs

"I am female  and at that time I was here alone; so the owner, Orville had the insight to let his sister lead... who had been finishing concrete since she was thirteen years old! The only reason I didn't score excellent for profssionalism is because they were so easy to be around- my estimation of being too professional is really quite stuffy.  I could say more but, readers may sumise that getting some kind of kick back....but all in all...I am glad to have the problem taken care  of, and be listened to...all to often consumers get what they're given...(like with auto mechanics, but that's a whole other story!)...This Angie list works! thanks for introducing me to "THE BASEMENT WIZARD"
