"When I first bought my house in 2018 it was very outdated and needed a lot of flooring done. I went online and all of the reviews for Frederick's were reassuring that they would take good care of it. My services were preformed in late 2018. I'd like to say I had no problems with the installation or service of those who came to my house. They were professional and even admitted when they accidentally broke one of my windows and paid for it. My issues are with the business itself. There were a few mistakes with the vinyl flooring so my husband made a call to the store in 2019 (less than a year after the services.) After a few calls we finally were able to get Nick to come out to fix them. He fixed one mistake but said he didn't have the correct item to fix the other one. He told my husband he would call him the next day or later in the week. We never heard from him again.. I understand he is probably busy running the store so we tried to be understanding and starting calling the store again. We talked to Mickie several times and were told Nick would get back to us. He still has not.. My husband has continued calling and talked to other employees and still nothing. His call logs on his cell phone show he has called over ten times now. It is now 2020 and I've pretty much come to terms with the fact that my floor is not getting repaired.. Several months ago the carpet started bunching and needs to be re-stretched but I'm afraid to try calling back again. It's very upsetting. I would love to say I recommend them because the products themselves turned out lovely, but customer service matters."

"I tried to get 3 bids. All three companies were quite busy with orders. One could not give me an estimate in a reasonable time. The other two company estimates varied by $1,000.00 for exactly the same product. We went with the lower bid and expanded the scope of work to be done. The installation team was great, despite problems along the way. Demolition took an additional day as the old glued down flooring was very difficult to pry up and they were one man down with a sick day. The on-site foreman is a great contractor. He made sure the job was done right, doing even more work than the higher bid would promise. He watched the details despite the office pushing him to be done ASAP. I know he was between a rock & hard place and his attention was always to give the customer top quality work. There was a communication problem with the Sales Office due to my expanding the scope of work. I attribute it to normal problems having any work done during a busy season. There was a lot of leaving messages instead of direct dialogue. Tile look flooring was ordered for 2nd bath instead of wood look vinyl. This meant the workers were a box short of completing the job. Stephano, Installation Manager, jumped on solving the mix-up right away. One box was exchanged for the wood look product. The job was expected to take 2-3 days, when it actually took 5 ... primarily due to the team being one man down due to illness. The job is not done yet, as we are waiting for delivery of product. This means our Guest Bath is partially done and the toilet had to be removed to lay the floor ... so we have one less bath probably for 2 weeks. This is NORMAL whenever you have major renovation done in your home. Always start a project with your sense of humor intact. It's an inconvenience that is irksome when it happens, but the company and it's workers have been excellent throughout the process. Early 2019 will be Phase 2 - Living/Dining Rm, Kitchen & Laundry. "Our kitchen floor is a mess. After the initial installation. all the tiles shifted. The installer removed the whole floor and reinstalled. When asked about using spacers, the installer said he just eyeballs it. We now have grout lines that are 1/8", 1/4" and corners that do not match. Recently the grout began to crumble. Chad from Calcutta came out and promised to send someone out to repair when they got the grout color in stock. Well, we never heard anything. It's been about 4 months. I hate my kitchen floor. It is so hard to clean. Wish I would have gone with sheet vinyl. On a better note, the rest of the downstairs got vinyl plank and it looks very nice."

"We had $14000 worth of flooring installed. Flooring Concepts wanted to install the vinyl floor over the existing wood floor. We had some reservation but The staff assured us that it would be ok. Three weeks after installation our refrigerator leaked and damaged the kitchen floor. We had to mitigate the water damage and both layers of flooring had to be removed. We are planning to renovate our kitchen and went to Flooring Concepts to order the product and install the floor when we renovate our kitchen. We were aghast when Flooring Concepts called and told us that they would not repair the floor since the installers did not want to have to do the repairs necessary to reinstall the floor. We received a call from the account manager from Costco that stated he backed Flooring Concepts decision. The person was patronizing and insulting. I think Flooring Concepts should have to repair their own work. I am considering retaining an attorney."
