I had a difficult time trying to find the right company that was familiar with my water heater model, I was reassured that Washington Water Heaters had several technicians that knew my water heater model. I had contacted at least 7 vendors, in which 3 responded; however, Washington Water Heaters was the only company that sent someone out that actually looked at and diagnosed my problem. A temporary fixed was completed on arrival and a follow-up a few days later with a new parts. I felt that the service and follow-up from the technician to the staff over the phone was superb! "I purchased a new Navien NPE-240A2 Tankless Water Heater and had it installed. I'm loving the new water heater. It replaces an old Noritz tankless that died just before this installation. The on-site estimate was what sold me. Ken went through all the details and answered a lot of questions from me. Zachary came out with Austin and performed the installation just like I discussed with Ken. Zachary kept me in the loop throughout the installation to ensure I was in agreement with how it was going. Zachary always had my interest at heart and ensured no corners were cut. The installation is much cleaner, and more correct than the previous tankless company did. Zachary even listened to my concern about the astectics of the exterior exhaust and quickly found an easier and cleaner looking way to address my concern. He also removed an old recirculation pump and replaced a new main house shutoff valve. The entire area was treated respectfully and left cleaner than they found it."

"The Seatown team did a great job. I got quotes from 3 different recommended plumbing services, but the Seatown guys were the only ones who recognized we would need to upgrade our gas meter. They did a great job explaining how to get this scheduled with PSE. The estimate Seatown gave was on par with some of the other plumbers, so we went with them. They sent 2 service people to come and install the tankless and the guys were just excellent. I expressed concern about mounting the water heater on the beams in our basement because Our house is so old, so they came up with a better solution. They built a small wall frame to mount the water heater. No extra cost. When they found there was no outlet wired near the heater they were able to get an electrician from Seatown to come out and wire one up while they worked on the water heater install. Seatown aldo had a good scheduling method, sent text reminders the day they were coming to do the work with a photo of the person who was coming and a short set of info about the person. It was a nice touch, and a thoughtful safety measure. They did a great job with the install which took several hours. I’d definitely hire them again."

They removed my old electric water heater and were tidy and very professional. I paid by check as they left. Now I will have to install an electrical outlet next to the heater but meanwhile, it's on an extension cord... Looking forward to 24-hour hot water, and a lower electric bill!"

Note that the Angie's list price of $799 only covers the installation of 50 gallon gas AO Smith hot water tank. Assuming you also do installation of new brass fittings, new flex lines and new expansion tank (which you should probably all do with the new water heater) it will cost an ADDITIONAL approx $500-600 (mostly labor costs). That's a competitive price but still, you should be aware that the original quote is just for the water tank install itself, nothing else. All-in-all they did a good job for a competitive price. A few months after the install, so far, I can say I would recommend them for this type of work."
