"This service is not dependable and did not complete the job they were paid to do. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt that they didn't understand exactly what I wanted. So, I contacted them again to explain the problem, I provided a picture of what I wanted and we discussed ways to repair it-but they did not follow-up as promised even though I was willing to pay them additional money. They did not start the initial project as promised and they left trash in my driveway."

"The owner, Taylor Trueblood, harassed us incessantly then threatened to remove our 95% paid for fence because we asked for an itemized invoice as the remaining charges he was making were beyond what was in the contract and additional agreed upon charges. He also threatened to slander and defame us for wanting an explanation of the mysterious charges he wanted us to pay. The instability of his behavior and reactions caused us to reach out to the Carroll County Sheriff's department as we felt unsafe. Furthermore, we cannot find any evidence of his licensing with the state. We repeatedly asked for proof of his licensing to which he ignored us and then sent us blacked out copies of his incorporation documents. NO licensing was ever given. The crew left trash everywhere then later, a landscape architect discovered screws were missing from all over the fence. To put it nicely--working with Taylor Trueblood and his crew was an utter nightmare. STAY AWAY!"

"We were very appreciative of the concern and measurements taken to determine where the extra downspout would be installed. We weren’t given a copy of the proposal. Mr. Allen sent someone out to do the job evidently with the wrong instructions because he put it in the wrong place. When we discovered this I tried calling him and he wouldn’t answer the phone. When he finally called 3 days later he claimed that he never said it should have gone in a different place. I knew this was going to happen. I am paying $275 for a downspout in the wrong place. Not everyone has money growing on trees. Mr. Allen is a dishonest person that we were impressed with and trusted. For two senior citizens who live on a fixed income this whole thing sucks."

My family owned a dairy farm. Grandpa had his own cattle but he and my Uncle also ran a "milk route". They picked up milk from other farms all over middle TN. We delivered it to a processing center along with our own milk.\n\nI learned to take care of the equipment on this farm not long after I could walk. Along the milk route, it soon became obvious to me, even as a young boy that proper maintenance sure saved a lot of time and trouble.\n\nThat lesson served me well throughout my life. As a very young man, I joined the service. I found it easy to fall into a structured routine, I grew up that way. Later as I learned various trades my attention to detail and regimented style of learning and doing made it easy for me to retain and reuse my new found knowledge. And today, as I comb over a cabin for signs of potential problems or I am building a deck or other project ... I find it's the lessons of my youth that keep me on track.\n\nI named my business Arlis, because it was my dad's name. He's not with me anymore and I miss him. My Dad never did anything half-way. So naming my business after him reminds me of the lessons he taught.
